My mom and I spend a weekend at Riverwalk Place & Oasis Spa, down the road from Pipers, about once a year and usually head here the first night to grab a bite, have a few drinks, and play Keno. To be fair, there aren't a lot of dining choices competing with Pipers, but the vibe is super welcoming and it definitely beats eating fast food in the hotel room. The place is a popular hang out spot for locals and travelers alike so it is often quite busy. Patience is recommended as the bartenders and servers are busting their butts to cover the thirsty and hungry crowds. The food is good, consistent, and fresh and the drinks are well made and tasty. Everytime we have visited, there has been something new on the menu, the specials board, and the cocktail list which is nice as most pubs don't tend to venture far from the usual "bar food" fare. All in all, Pipers is a step above the expectation and I like that I can count on a good meal, good drinks, and good vibes.

This is a really hard review to write because I love this place and their food.... We tried to eat here the other day and it was busy. We stood at the door for 10 minutes and not a SINGLE staff member greeted us, talked to us or even acknowledged us. They walked past us repeatedly to their tables. This includes the owner who looked up at us several times. At one point he walked from behind the bar to another table in the front and and started talking and laughing with them. We waited longer. We finally left and went elsewhere and had a great meal and drinks. I knew they were busy. I understand being short staffed and having limited space. I didn't expect to get a table and was going to wait. All I expected was to be acknowledged and told that there was a wait or even told they would be back in a few minutes to speak to us. And, unfortunately, this is not the first time we have left without anyone even talking or acknowledging us. We have been also turned away from an EMPTY restaurant that is reserved for Trivia Night and parades that are HOURS in the future..which I don't understand why you wouldn't want to turn those tables and increase your sales. I mean it's 4 pm and you won't seat a table that has a white square of paper that is reserved for 6 pm??? So, at this point, I will stop trying and will go elsewhere and spend my money at other places that will gladly take it.

We were downtown getting coffee at the local coffee shop northern expresso when we wanted to grab some food for lunch. We saw pipers pub and wanted to give it a try for the first time, we love supporting local businesses so we were excited to try it. We walked in and were told we couldn’t bring our coffees that we’d just bought from across the street from another downtown local business. So we left and took our business to where they are actually in support of local businesses and let us finish our coffees and we still ordered drinks. It’s not fair to judge the quality of the restaurant on this experience however, we feel like it could’ve been a warmer welcome and first impression. Normally local businesses love to see people downtown supporting other businesses.

Ordered pizza and wings from Piper’s Pub tonight and our family was very impressed. Pizza was excellent, wings were large, crispy and had a good amount of sauce. Order was ready on time, service was great with a friendly wait staff. I’ll definitely be back!!

Pipers has the best pizza in town! All the staff is so friendly and the atmosphere is welcoming and fun. 10/10 recommend!
The food is amazing and so is the staff. Always smiling and a laid back atmosphere. I won’t go to any other bars in town. Pipers is definitely a great place. They do things like trivia night as well and it over all relaxed and fun.Kid-friendliness: If you bring your child before nine like state law states it is a very kid friendly
