We are staying at the hotel, so we decided to try this restaurant so we did not have to leave the premises.Positives: Caramel Cocoa Coffee, lobster bisque, friendly staff, nice view.Negatives: Perch dinner was NOT perch, bland rice, bland undercooked broccoli, coconut shrimp was crunchy outside/mushy inside, sweet potato fries were not fries but instead huge wedges that were half undercooked as well.Overall, the experience was not worth the price.

Went here with a group of friends all of us but one got the walleye special and they got cod dinner. Was going well food showed up quickly and as I seen what was set in front of me I was a bit confused as it was one big filled quite wide to be a walleye but I stayed optimistic I cut into and took a bite and knew it wasn't walleye and in fact was cod all the walleye dinners were cod and the the one cod dinner we ordered was I'm fact walleye I told our server about this she guarantees me it walleye and give me some speal she did ask if she could replace it with the other fish, we declined and they were kind enough to give us half off. Wasn't impressed tho and won't be going back.

Food was standard chain restaurant fare, although this is not a chain restaurant. Service was OK, ambience was really good being right on the Cedar river. Restaurant is inside a hotel and seems to be a local favorite.

Very pleasant atmosphere. Our server was friendly and efficient. We had cocktails, fish and chips, ribs, calamari, and dessert. We expected a bit more from the food given the pricing and wonderful location. We thought the food was typical of a mid-grade bar. Nothing bad ...but nothing especially notable.

Some thoughts. From a successful restaurant owner..Your wait staff is nice but lacks passion and overall happiness. They seem depressed. Changing that could increase sales 20-30%.Get more beers on tap. 4? Or 5? Come on guys. Help yourselves out. There wasn’t even an Oberon on tap! Or any domestics. Not a good strategy.Manager. You need younger people clientele to go the distance.Good luck

We stayed Fri night at the hotel and grabbed something from the grill around 7ish. The piano man gave us a great time he took requests and played great music. People were dancing and having a fun time. The food was good per my husband, who had a chicken wrap. The server gentlemen took a while to get to us and needed to be called over to get our food order and drink refills. We will be back.
