Mabel only accepts cash. If you're looking for an excellent home cooked meal then stop at this little gem on M65. Best breakfast we've had so far on our adventure over the past week. They are one of the top 22 greasy spoons in Michigan and I can see why. If you are in this tiny town, make it a point to stop and grab a bite. You won't be sorry you did.
Took granddaughters out to breakfast before church. The food was great, and the waitress made the girls feel very special.Kid-friendliness: They were able to choose from the kids menu. They ate almost all of it...a lot of food for a six and seven year old.

Wonderful greasy spoon little diner. I do want to know that you need to plan ahead because they only accept cash.The service was fantastic and it definitely has a small town feel. The Omelette was fantastic! We will be back!
