All the other big John’s have angry and surely staff for some reason. This one always is staffed with happy welcoming folks and some of the most beautiful and delicious sandwiches. The cheesesteak they served me was prettier than the advertisement. Even better everyone working there was pleasant and enjoyable. In 2025 having fast service, excellent made to order food, outstanding staff, and decent prices is near unheard of. This location in particular hits all of the above and...
Excellent cheese steak. I wish they had some locations in Detroit, but I'd gladly drive an hour north for a Big John's cheese steak again. I'd been wanting to try one for years, and finally made it.
I am a Michigander who resides in another state. I came home for a visit and wanted to purchase a favorite food. A Big John Steak n Onion!
I drove an hour to this location ( which is not the one I usually visit).
The interior of the bldg was well maintained, the counter person and the grill cook were amazing. They were polite, patient, and efficient. The cashier made suggestions on food, sauce etc.
