Got there at 12 on a Tuesday and got a seat right away. It was past tourist season and after school started, so very slow business wise. A hidden gem, very good barbecue meals and a good variety of side dishes. The locals would do good to frequent this place and keep it in business. They brew their own beers and have a large selection of other drinks and smoke thier own meats. Other items on menu are also house made.
My wife and I were considering a visit until we read ALL the reviews. So this is a a review of the restaurant's response to all of the complaints over years. You don't seem to be capable of learning or improving your business. It would seem you need a new manager and chef who knows how to smoke meats without drying them out. I get that food supplies are expensive now... especially beef, but there is no excuse for continually serving food that is improperly prepared, cold and miserly portions. Good Lord I would think you would get tired of apologizing month after month and get things fixed. We love good BBQ but will wait until we read this restaurant is under new management with a new chef/smoke master.

Great place if you like pork! Fantastic ribs with many sauces to choose from. Hot apple slices, crunchy tater tots. Lots of good food, friendly staff, reasonable prices.

We did over 10 minutes before anybody even looked at us then the gentleman was real nice. That did help us food’s just OK. The jalapeño sausage was awesome and so was the butter beans sweet potatoes, pulled pork and coleslaw are horrible. Don’t bother.

I got the pulled pork with green beans, fried apples, cornbread waffle. Everything was very good and good sized portions. Several different bbq sauces to choose from but I combined 3 for the perfect sauce for me.
