Excellent margaritas at the bar, got perch basket to go. If would have opened it before I left I would have refused it, 4 shriveled up little pieces of fish, I've seen perch come out and they're huge and look great, for $21 , very disappointed

Classic Grand Haven Spot with good food and speedy service!We started with the Rangoon Appetizer which I'd definitely get again! These are not your typical mass produced Rangoons. They are special.For our dinners we got an Olive Burger and and a Perch Basket like any good West Michiganders. My wife is something of an Olive Burger expert and said it's a perfectly respectable effort and it gets the job done. She loved their ranch dressing. My perch basket was crispy and tasty with a nice light coating on the fish.Solid selection of drinks, nice atmosphere and downtown without being too downtown. This is a good spot for anybody passing through town to get dinner and drinks in a comfortable setting.
Went there on Wednesday night around 7 pm it was packed! My wife had the Hipster burrito and I had the Perch dinner. It was fantastic! Our waitress Tabby made the evening even better! We are new to town and she made us feel welcome. We will definitely be back.

Great customer service they were all very attentive and very cheery while we were there. Unfortunately the food was not that good and a bit overpriced. This spot is probably great for an after work beer but not some please I will stop again for lunch.

This was our first visit to JW's, and we were happily surprised by the good food and great service! Our waitress was very attentive and helpful! We had 8 people in our party, as we were celebrating my son's 13th birthday. The food was really good with large portions, and we had no issues with our food or service.

Dined in bar area 1/27 with another couple. White chili and perch were great but fries weren't cooked long enough, soggy and greasy. Server mixed up our cards and we were charged for the other couples bill and vice versa. We caught the mistake and told the server who said she would void them and went to do so but then asked twice more who's card was who's and then came back and said it was fixed but didn't give us the ticket showing the void. When we asked for it, she said "oh my god" and walked away. We understand mistakes are made but this reaction was uncalled for and unacceptable. Also, voiding did not take it off our accounts yet so have double charges until it does.
