The food at Lucy’s in Grand Haven was excellent, and our waitress Johnny provided outstanding service. Unfortunately, all of that was overshadowed by the unacceptable behavior of Aaron, the manager. When we asked a simple and reasonable question, instead of addressing it professionally, he berated my wife, spoke down to us, and tried to turn the situation around to make us feel guilty for even bringing it up. His tone was hostile, his comments were inappropriate, and his handling of the situation showed a complete lack of respect for paying customers.
No guest should ever be treated this way — period. As locals, we want to support Lucy’s and other community establishments, but as long as this type of behavior from management is tolerated, we cannot recommend this restaurant to anyone. The owner needs to address this immediately if they care about their customers’ experience and reputation.

My friends and I came here for my 21st birthday and the manager Aaron did not take my temporary paper ID which is almost unheard of. Our sever was great and I could tell he felt bad for me because I would too. The manager was not friendly when he came to the table and acted bothered when asking for the checks water and boxes. He then sent the sever over to do what we asked him. Personally if I were the manager I would have given some form of compensation for the inconvenience considering it is my 21st birthday and I got denied a drink with proof but nothing was done. The server was great and this had nothing to do with him.

We just happened to park in the lot across the street and wandered in. Wow! It was so awesome. I had the Pepperoni Jalapeno honey flat bread pizza and it was AMAZING! Cutest place and friendly as it comes. We had a great lunch here! You should go too!

Nolani and Charlie were super friendly and both amazing bartenders and the atmosphere here is very welcoming and friendly 👏.
I had the goat cheese bliss and chicken pesto bowl (with hot honey drizzle). Absolutely perfect 🤌. Will definitely be bringing my old geezer ass parents here I'm sure they will love it! Thanks guys!

Don't waste your money on the insanely micro amount of food. My wrap wasn't even put together and everything fell outta my wrap and come to find out was barely anything in it for 17 bucks.

Discovered Lucy's Backyard for the first time today . . . only regret is not discovering it sooner! The food was excellent, the music was perfect, the parking was convenient, and, the Key West vibe was FUN!! It's in a great location, too, since you do not need to deal with the traffic downtown. Would give it a ten star review if I could!!!

We were looking for a new place to eat out for sandwiches, and this little gem popped up in our search. I'm glad we tried it out. Nolani was our server, and she was great, friendly, she gave us a rundown of all the specials and came back to our table to check on everything a couple of times. We ordered The Dune and the Italiano sandwiches and Baked Feta. The sandwiches were great, very nice portions, and the baked feta came with bread. Nolani gave us some advice on how to stir up the baked feta to put it on the bread. Great advice ! This place was great and so were all the employees. As we were leaving, they all said goodbye and have a nice day. We'll be going back for sure.
