My wife and I enjoy take out from here many times a month. The food is great! I usually get the Mongolian Beef, but I decided to change it up, and I was very happy I did. The Szechuan Shrimp was the best take out Chinese meal I have ever had. I subbed out the rice for noodles at no extra charge, and had plenty for 2 great meals. If you like shrimp with a little kick, this was a perfect meal!

We decided to give New China City a try because the quality of our local Chinese take out had diminished. I ordered for five, and there was a range of items in the order, and the quality was consistently good for all the dishes. This is not high end dining, but for what it is, I feel it's a good choice for Chinese in the West Michigan area. One of the things I appreciated is that they options for different tastes, from steamed dishes along with deep fried items.

I was nervous to try this place because of all the recent negative reviews. I decided to try it anyways.
The fried rice was absolutely flavorless. The only veggie in the fried rice was onion. Yuck. Soy sauce helped a little, but fried rice should have a flavor, not bland.
I ordered the beef n broccoli. It was pretty good. Plenty of broccoli and beef, and for $7.60, you can't beat that price! Other places now charge $13 for the same amount of food.
The crab rangoon was good. The egg roll was great! The fortune cookie, i feel jipped. There was no tacky saying in it or anything!
Small dining room but i was able to enjoy my lunch. Overall, a good experience.

This food was horrible. Chicken, beef, pork all taste the same, flavorless. Feel like I got tricked by all the good reviews. If any of these 5 star reviews are real, I feel bad that these people think this is good chinese food.

I went here because of Google review and it was pretty bad!!! I ordered wontons and they were pretty bad mostly fried flour shells with mystery meat that was supposed to be pork. I tried to get it replaced and the guy at register said “That’s what you ordered that’s what you got”. I tried to explain how bad they were he didn’t care. I had to throw them away. Money down the drain. Save your money.
We got 3 boxes of shrimp fried rice. It had no flavor. It was very blend , no vegetables and the rice was uncooked. I would not recommend it.

Fast paced Chinese joint that will serve you hot, delicious food. We stopped over on our way to Chicago from MI and chose this place for the rating. True to rating for its food, it’s a 4 tables sit in if you have to, clean rest room is a plus. Worth a try. Note: we’re vegetarian still found it decent options!
