We visited the area and decided to stop at Stanz after seeing Polish food on the menu. The kielbasa and pierogis were very good. We were also happy with the jambalaya. A poor note was made after one of our party found a hair in a salad, prompting us to double-check the cleanliness of the main dishes. The cost of the side salad was removed from the bill, and nothing else was offered. I would visit all of the other outstanding eating options in the area before thinking of a return to Stanz.
Good food and great prices.
Food was great, got an outside table immediately, server was friendly. Will be back the next time I'm in town.
Very disappointed in the service that we got today. Not sure what we did but our waitress just kind of ignored us the whole time we were there wouldn't look at us if they would have looked at us they would have seen that we were not satisfied
Stanz staff is friendly and fast. The food was hot and great. They were crazy busy being that it was Father's Day but the service and food was awesome. We sat outside and there was the ability to choose sun or shade. I love that they have specials. Clean restrooms.
We have heard for a while that this restaurant is a town jewel. We got to the restaurant right at open so our larger family could get a table together before they got busy. A middle aged woman immediately started to say no to our request for outdoor seating, but then ultimately just did it. Then she barked at the next guests about how they just opened and to chill! Luckily she was not our server. The service was a tad slow, but the location did fill up fast so that’s to be expected. A lot of the cups were not very clean, and many of us pulled out wipes for our silverware. The bathroom didn’t look like it was cleaned for the business day and needed toilet paper on the seat to be remotely usable. The food was what you would expect from a traditional diner, nothing special but the price for the food was hard to beat!
Conclusion: The only draw to this establishment is local support and price. Customer service and cleanliness is very poor. Unless it’s the price you are looking for, I would avoid this location.
So honestly the food was so-so. The service is where they shine. The wait staff was all so friendly and helpful. Outdoor seating was perfect. And I couldn't believe the bill, it was so affordable for all that we ate! I'll go back and try something new.
Food was amazing and service was excellent.

Yummy food, great service, and across the street from the best bait shop in town. What's not to like?

Stopped here for dinner had the gumbo and it was so good that I had to order the Polish dinner. Both were great. Generous portions and the service was fantastic.

The food was excellent, and so was the service. The noise at 5:30 pm was so loud from the bar that I could not talk or hear my wife across the table. My guess is that if you want to talk, eat outside or go in a quiet time.
