Decided to take a quick day trip up to Grand Haven with a few friends, wandered around the gorg town for a bit before we decided to stop into Kirby. It was probably one of the best decisions we could have made. Even with the wait time (which was only 30 mins) they made it extremely easy. We were able to shop around town while we waited for our table to be ready. That’s not even the best part. The food was absolutely amazing I highly recommend the Margarita pizza, and Rosemary fries. The drinks were delicious and very fairly priced. The cherry on top was our amazing server Grace who even in a busy restaurant gave us 5 star service. Grace was kind, patient and probably the funniest person we met on our trip. I would highly advise the owners of this amazing restaurant to give Grace either a raise or some type of bonus, employees like that are hard to come by and should be cherished by all.

Me and my three friends went yesterday for dinner with it being my personal first time visiting grand haven for the beach and it was an amazing experience! The food was amazing and our server Grace was patient and vibed with us as my friends kept calling her over by her name HAHA she was kind and friendly with us and we are definitely wanting to go back again. Specifically them wanting Grace again. Thank you Grace for dealing with our table and my friends ❣️

This is a kind of tricky one to rate. One meal had to be sent back for a couple reasons but once that was addressed the food was good. Pretty solid with a 4 star rating on taste, freshness, and selection.
Service was not great. We had 2 servers. The young lady was very nice and accommodating and the young man was rather short and not at all attentive or personable. After we ordered appetizers he came over to grab the menus without asking if there was anything else we wanted. It was weird and felt like he was trying to hurry us out. I’ve never experienced that in any other restaurant we’ve visited. We ordered our meals after the appetizers arrived (he did let us keep the menus after all- lol).
The Long Island ice tea tasted like a premixed drink- it could’ve been better but it was fine. The Thai lettuce chicken appetizer and the mussel appetizer were both fantastic. The poke bowl was very good- mostly fresh tasting, the watermelon seemed not so fresh, the Kobe sirloin had good taste but the first one brought out was cold and the Brussel sprouts were good and not cooked very well. The second time they cooked it all better it was served warm and tasted good (grilled Brussels still a little too hard to chew).
Flavor wise and menu choice is good. Feels like there’s something for everyone. If our service had been friendlier it would’ve really helped. The restaurant itself is clean and lots of seating choices when the weather is good. Considering everyone has an off day I would recommend the restaurant.

Went to see our favorite band this afternoon. The 6 of us ordered food and drinks. We had 8 chairs at our table so we invited 2 others to join us to make room for more customers on the upper deck. We were told after being there for 2 hours that we had to leave because other customers were waiting to be seated. We will never go back to The Kirby again.

Rosemary fries were amazing. The dark lighting made it difficult for my 52 YO eyes to see the menu. Oh well.
We ordered a pizza to have delivered to OddSide Ales. Ordering was easy. Prompt and friendly delivery. The BBQ Hawaiian pizza was so good. Definitely would recommend.
