Aggie Mae's Bakery

The Aggie Mae bakery is a hidden gem in Grand Ledge that fulfills custom orders with homemade perfection. My son’s soccer team was happy to end their year with beautifully decorated cookies with each player’s name stylized onto a soccer ball. However, one doesn’t need to have a specific order in mind to make the trip. I’ve walked in and left with a fresh sourdough loaf, different types of delicately crafted pastries, but always a fresh latté. Aggie Mae’s Bakery will continue to be a must stop in town.

I ordered a cake very last minute, like two days before the baby shower and it turned out wonderfully. They were so helpful, well priced and the cake was amazing.

Everything is absolutely delicious! I have been coming here for year's, it had been awhile since I'd came and to my surprise beside what I had ordered there was 2 slices of fresh bread and a lil homemade cracker for my soup so cute. Love the new comfy couches and chairs as well.

Though a small joint, it has a lot of character. I did a half sandwich and soup and it comes with a mini loaf of artesian bread all for around $10. Each day has a different special, so pick your favorite day. It was also very clean with a steady flow of customers. Is that to say I have not had bigger and better sandwiches, no. But for the price point and quality, you can't beat it. The soup I had was the chili and it was great.

Parking: I didn't see any dedicated handicap spots but maybe I missed em.

Always friendly service and the sandwiches are true masterpieces. And the coffee is like craft coffee.

Aggie Mae’s Bakery offers the best tasting sour dough bread available in the area. They bake both seeded and seedless versions. The bread is made without eggs or butter in the ingredients.The staff is very courteous and knowledgeable. They offer sandwiches and beverages, and the shop is spotless clean.

Horrible customer service. My wife and I ordered lunch take out and picked out a few desserts as well while grabbing the food. Once we got home we noticed that they had messed up our order (included a soup we didn't order and forgot a sandwich we did order). While obviously annoying and inconvenient, it happens. However, their solution was to bring the soup back, get a refund for it, and then pay for the sandwich they forgot. At the VERY least you'd think they would've offered to make the sandwich for free given the inconvenience of having to drive all the way back to their business for a mistake they made and all the way back home. I guess they'd rather lose 2 customers over $7. Bad business.

Went in this morning and waited a long time while one employee cleaned the coffee machine, another chit chatted with a customer while sitting at a table and another employee in the back doing who knows what. I walked out. Would not recommend.

Place has a very friendly atmosphere. Wait staff are always friendly and welcoming.
