Cute mom and pop kinda place. As with many of my reviews I give my observations pro and con. Pros: fast service, tasty ice cream, cute plastic cone holders that catch cone drip so it doesnt end up on your hand, places outside to sit with umbrellas, yes there is a bathroom inside. Cons: The plastic spoons have sharp edges, my brownie in my sundae did not taste homemade so a little disappointed, and small parking lot (like 2 spots) but street parking is available. Not a bad place over all but a four is my stance. I will be back when in grand ledge.

Letting 2 under trained staff run the business on a busy Saturday with 0 efficiency. 2 people working and only doing 1 order at the same time out the same window. Unfortunate that the business owners dont keep an eye on things like this. Polr service for everyone wait was over an hour and longer when we left.

There should be a sign posted on the door that states they will only help you inside as long as no one walks up outside. Stood inside for over 10 minutes ignored before we left. First time going there in years, and the last time. I have never had a poor experience at Lickity Split, they will continue to get my families business and support.

I ordered a mellow yellow easy ice and it was flat and taste like ice cream. They stated the machine is old and only had half of the advertised sodas. I asked for a refund and they gave me $1.50 when I paid almost $3. I feel taken advantage of

Nice to have an inside air conditioned sitting area inside. Great chocolate strawberry but be prepared for hardened chunk on the bottom with plastic spoons. Also good turtle sundaes. Pleasant and welcoming service.
