Good food. Small portions. It does not look like pics on Google at all. Cement floor. Big empty square place with kitchen and baths.

Stopped in on a Friday night when most other places were full. The digital menu wouldn't load, the canned pop wasn't cold, baked beans were undercooked. We had mac and cheese and brisket bowls, they were ok, no sauces are on the table for your meat, nothing comes with sides.

Wouldn't recommend. Slow service, small portions, very vinegary sauces, cold food, slow.Watched one couple walk out eventually leaving their unopened cans of pop on the table. A group of around 6 who did eat left around 10 minutes after we got there, neither table was cleaned off by the time we left.Brisket was, so so. Hardly any smoke ring around the meat, cold, not high on flavor, no crust, kinda thin.

It's edible.I stopped by because I was hankering for some baby back ribs only to find out they have to be ordered 24hrs in advance. So I settled on the brisket chilli.First off, im sitting there looking at the very unfinished interior (a lot of exposed outlets without even coloring them differently, means the eye is going to be drawn to them), I felt i could hear a little too much of what was going on in the kitchen (also could've sworn I saw my food come out of a baggy. I don't mind that completely, but i shouldn't know about it.)The food itself was given to me in an unmarked paper bag (felt like I was just handed school lunch), the cornbread that was supposed to come with was nowhere to be seen, and when i drove the 2min it takes to get home, it was cold. I literally had to microwave it right away.I may have tried ordering the ribs in advance to sate my curiosity, but after all that, I think I'll just shop elsewhere.

Never again! Started out by our server listing what they were out of. Which seemed to be a lot. Small portions. Never brought my beverage till the food came out. Mac and cheese was cold and overcooked with 0 flavor. Cornbread tasted as if it was made 2 weeks ago. Amd who in the hell serves cold bbq sauce? Best part of my experience was leaving!

Don't eat here. No greeting or friendly service. Being the only person in the restaurant it took 30 minutes to get food. Food came out cold, lukewarm. Food was horrible this isn't BBQ. Meat tasted like gas/propane smelled as such also. Ended up throwing $60 of food in the garbage.

Very nice and relaxed place that welcomed us. No menu but the qr menu works really well. Food was really good and cane out in a pretty quick manner.

First time here, we really like it! It was a bit of a slow lunch on Wednesday afternoon, (like only 3 tables had people at them.) Food got out in a timely manner, and service was really good. I think the manager serviced us but was super friendly!

This is a neat cozy place with awesome food. With a very casual environment and all the bbq comfort food staples on the menu, it's one of my favorites for lunch.

Just want to preface with, I don't like leaving negative reviews. I will say I have had BBQ all over, including the south, especially North Carolina and Alabama. The brisket at Crossroads Barbecue was not very good. My wife and I noticed a strong propane-like taste throughout the meat. It was really strange. I'm wondering if the the meat is injected to make it seem moist, slow cooked for less time, then blasted with a plumber's torch. It had a thick black crust of char and a strange smell too. Something wasn't right about it.I'm a long time fan of Carolina-style BBQ sauce. The Carolina sauce at Crossroads Barbecue tasted like French's yellow mustard mixed with vinegar. I didn't seem like much care or thought went into it.I would give one star, but the roasted potatoes were good and salted perfectly.

So I went and got food here on a Saturday, and I checked their menu online on my computer then when I went to order it online the menu was totally different, I had hope to get several items off the menu to get a nice selection of their items to try most of them and they were out of almost everything I wanted to try which was incredibly irritating. The food I was able to get and try was really sub par and very underwhelming which was sad because I was really hoping to be able to get decent BBQ locally again, I can say the best thing I had that night was the rolls and to me that’s a huge red flag, I do however genuinely hope things have improved and perhaps I will give them a second chance in the future

I got a pulled pork sandwich today and idk guys, you asked me 3 times I think if I wanted slaw on my sandwich or on the side. I love pulled pork with slaw on it, so of course asked for it on the sandwich, well, it wasn't on my sandwich, or on the side, no slaw to be found anywhere. Within 5 minutes of leaving I ate the sandwich, the bottom bread was so soggy it was gross. The pork had a vary odd almost chemical taste? That I've been burping all day so that's odd and gross, sorry for that readers. The Carolina mustard sauce is really good, and I was fed lunch, I got to eat, so not all bad, just not much good either.

Little different dining experience where you seat yourself, order online, and pay right away. Staff very friendly. I liked being able to order and pay in one go personally so when we were done eating, could leave without waiting to pay. Food was very good and BBQ sauces came on the side so could put as much or as little you wanted. Excited to see how this restaurant grows!

So, I recently went to this establishment with some friends and while the service was friendly it was not overall satisfactory. The overall aesthetic was super minimalist with some ambient sound but the smells were amazing. The entire process of ordering was done via our smartphones and expected to pay and tip before we got our food. The Twisted Reuben was fairly good, the portion was average but, there was not any options to have combo meal and so everything is a la carte. The service was fairly slow as there were only five customers in the joint and it just felt overall underwhelming. If you want to go to a place that is better in service, quality and food go to the Smokin' Pig.
