I enjoy going to Preston’s Bar for the atmosphere, but I’ve noticed a recurring issue that needs addressing. I always order the same drinks when I visit, yet the price varies depending on who’s working behind the bar. It’s frustrating not knowing what to expect when the menu and my order haven’t changed.

While I like the place overall, consistency in pricing is important to keep customers happy and build trust. I hope the management can look into this and provide some clarity to ensure a more seamless experience.

Our first time there...but NOT our last! Very nice atmosphere, food and old fashion cocktail.

Very cool little hole in the wall Bar downtown Grand Ledge Michigan bartender was very cool we went in late.
And he still served us showed us around the bar because it was the first time we had been there. Cool, little spot in the back. Where they have a DJ place has been around for a while. But the upkeep is nice .

Jim the bartender is extremely unpleasant and the main reason I would never recomend this place to anyone. Just plain rude and disrespectful.

Side note, the place is filthy. Check out the back room, especially by the dart boards. If Chalk dust was packable, you could build a snowman or two. I don't think they have swept/wiped down this area in years, no exaggeration. And to think that they serve food there....

Jim is hands down the rudest bartender I have ever met. This dude literally rolls his eyes and scoffs at you when you order drinks. Is overly sarcastic and rude for seemingly no reason.

Nice bar with indoor outdoor seating. Close enough to walk to island park across the bridge. Me and a friend got a beer and a seltzer for $10. Call ahead to find out if kitchen is open as it is closed on weekends I believe. I get it small place, maybe not enough traffic on weekends. Quiet atmosphere. Can't comment on food as kitchen was closed when I was there.
