We tried the Grand Marais Tavern for the first time on our last visit and we were not disappointed. We got there around 5:30 a week after Labor Day and got seated immediately. But not long after it got busy so plan accordingly.
The food was very good. The fries and onion rings were fresh. My wife got the BLT and it was huge. I told myself I wasn’t going to finish that Bufka Burger but that was just a lie - I couldn’t help myself.

My wife and I spent 3 nights in Grand Marais and every night, we ended up here for dinner based on how fantastic the food and service was. Every single one of their staff members from the hostess to the kitchen crew clearly has a big part of how our experience was. Any negative review is people being completely unreasonable.
