Really good, friendly workers too. I believe it was a Daniel and Marcus working tonight. Got some dark chicken and catfish “nuggets” the catfish nugs were maybe the best I’ve had and the chicken was pretty good too. Looks like they’ve seen some of the complaints from their opening, months ago and have resolved all of them. I found no issues with the place or food, just great flavor and good hospitality. this is the best place to get fried fish in Grand Rapids. the place is very clean, owners are very friendly and the food is phenomenal. perfectly seasoned, never greasy. I recommend 616 batter mix to everybody.

We tried them out for the first time tonight and overall the food was good. I loved the perch and the house sauce blew away regular tater sauce. Two points held me back from giving a 5 start review 1.) the macaroni and cheese was bagged on top of the fries mushrooms and cauliflower which made them mushy, soggy and unappealing (the ones that were not smashed were crispy and perfect) 2.) the chicken was overcooked and tasted burned.
