"Be the country we started in 1776"?! As a native and a compassionate human being who knows history I am appalled that you would say such a thing. This country was founded on theft, r@pe, genocide, racism and sexism. To go backwards is to harm people. Think again.

I use to like their food a lot. Not anymore! Though we had a very good waitress.

Great food!! Please don’t fall off the rails like the Anna’s house Locations on northland drive and in Byron Center. Their food is reheated sponges and I won’t be going back there.

the spot is cute, very tiny. when we came in the sign was moved somehow to seat yourself so it was packed and confusing on what to do. Once the hostess was located, she was confused as to why or how the sign was moved. After sometime the parties waiting were sat. Food was good, service was good as well. A little too small for how many tables are packed in there.

We love our weekly breakfast at Anna's. JANE is an amazing, attentive server who knows all of our coffee orders and preferences by heart. We come to Anna's to see Jane, along with enjoying an excellent breakfast.

Brenda was amazing! First she was decked out in festive fall gear even her earrings and was very kind and attentive. Second she spoke to her manager to help us use a coupon. I got the corned beef hash skillet and their corned beef is homemade fresh and very tasty. I like that they gave GF and Vegan options here.

Ok, I WILL say, the food was worth the wait. Fresh, delicious, cooked with love to perfection. Everything from the eggs to the pancakes was amazing.

However, #1, we were not greeted at the door. Yes, it was very busy, but a simple "Good morning, welcome to Anna's" or even "Hi, we will be right with you would go a long way in my book. As this was my first time here ever, I was not aware that apparently you were supposed to go online to their site and join a waiting list...nor was there a sign anywhere stating such. It wasn't until many people who came in after us stating they were on it that we looked into it and only then were we acknowledged that we were even there despite standing up at the front for almost 20 minutes already.

The sign at the front said "wait to be seated" and there was no further indication to join a list. As I said, first time there so I had no idea.

That being said, as first stated, the food was worth the wait and the menu was easy to understand with a vast selection. It's easy to see why it's voted the #1 breakfast spot in all of Michigan. I guess with that alone I should have known to get on a wait-list on a Sunday, but someone telling us that when we came in, or at least a sign, would have given the service 5 stars. Being ignored for 20 minutes in a venue as small as this one, however busy it was, is not the way to impress a first time guest.
