Food is adequate, my issue came when we were sitting, we were told that we could not put our baby that was sleeping in the car seat on the ground, as well as not a chair due to it being a “fire code” issue and Jean the server said “it’s also grandma code”. Making us sit at 3 different tables, Jean came back approximately 5 mins later and tried to explain the fire code without realizing that 15ft away, there was a sleeping baby, in a car seat, on the floor. Never coming back. Do not bring sleeping babies btw! My issue isn’t with the fire code, it’s due to the hypocrisy, and the fact that Jean was raising her voice about the issue, making a scene in the entire restaurant, and she did not do the same with the other family that had a baby on the floor, in a car seat.

Walked in 2 hours before close and was ignored by staff who kept giving me dirty looks. I left after waiting for 30 minutes to be served in a nearly empty restaurant.

Enjoyable chipotle southwest bowl for breakfast with the guys. The waitress was pleasant and the place was enjoyable to be in--very much a breakfast cafe vibe.

I visited Anna’s House for breakfast this morning after many months away, and unfortunately the experience fell short of what used to be my favorite spot. My food came out quickly, but the quality just wasn’t there. I ordered the Cook’s Sandwich, and the bread was barely toasted while half the avocado was black and mushy. The home fries were also undercooked.

Even though the restaurant wasn’t very busy, it took several minutes for my server to check in. He did offer to remake the dish right away, which I appreciated, but I chose to order something different instead. My second order came out promptly and was much better.

We were seated at a very small table for two, even though many dishes here come with multiple plates and plenty of larger tables were available. I also finished my coffee early on and wasn’t offered a refill until I was getting ready to leave.

Overall, this visit didn’t match the consistently great experiences I’ve had at Anna’s House in the past. I was really excited to return, especially for my favorite breakfast sandwich, so it was disappointing. I couldn’t help but wonder if this dip in quality is why the restaurant was only half full.
