Atwater Brewery in GR

Great tasting food and beer. Staff are always kind to me, I always enjoy going. They’re having issues with DoorDash mobile orders for pickup, you may want to call in advance to place an order.

Great bartender! Quite good beer.

After waiting over 45 minutes for our food (a salad and a burger with chips), I approached the bar and nicely asked the red-headed bartender if he could give me an estimate of when our food would be out. He told me, “Your food is in. I’ve got too much going on back here. It will be out when it comes out.” Then he walked away. We’ll never be back. Even the best salad and burger in the world aren’t worth the atrocious service we experienced. Thankfully the lady with the bright colored hair was very kind and comped the 2 beers on our tab before we walked out hungry.

We had a great time at Atwater! Our server Maggie was the highlight and made the experience personal and memorable! We will be coming back

Looks clean outside and inside, but as we went inside, there was no one to be seen working. We stood there for a min or so and just decided to sit ourselves at the empty bar. We came to realize there was one person working the bar and the tables.... when we got menus, they had crossed things out with Sharpie and told us they had no chicken.. so they took even more off the menu. Uunfortunately, with a lack of staff and a VERY SMALL menu (nothing like what online shows), if you look at the menu, it says artprize menu.. if you were to do specials for this, you would think to have a menu ready once it ended.... we decided to go to another restaurant. I'm very disappointed

Nice Michigan Brew pub featuring Atwater brews from Detroit. They serve food and drinks, with mostly indoor seating, but outdoor is available on nice days. A nice stop after a performance at Devos Place, or if you happen yo be downtown.

There is a shuffle-board table inside for playing, as well as several TV screens to watch the games.

Good variety of beers from IPA's to lagers and others.

Prices are about what you'd expect, but there is no parking lot, so you'll need to find a garage or other lot.

Great service event though the bartender was very busy with people from the conference. The food was simple but good

My guy and I love to come here on Friday nights for beers! We bring our dog in the summertime and drink outside - Maggie takes extra care of us and our dogs! Beer is awesome too!

Ariba and Jazzy provided excellent service and made us feel like we’ve been friends forever. I ordered the Malibu Barbie and it was not only delicious but super cute as well!
