I had ordered from a NY bakery for my son's birthday, but the delivery was waylaid by the winter weather. I needed a quick pivot for a day-of cake and found RISE online and called. They came to the rescue with a BEAUTIFUL personalized chocolate cake & candles + assorted cookies of which my son says are the BEST chocolate cookies he has ever had. Amy is a godsend! She is a fabulous baker, a therapist, a party planner and a creative genius all rolled into one. For a party that kept growing my leaps and bounds, and one that was thrown together at the last minute, the staff at RISE Bespoke Bakery made my father's 90th birthday party a HUGE success. From 220 cupcakes to the main cake, everything came together beautifully and seamlessly - and all delivered on a rainy, cold Sunday morning when most people were still in their loungewear sipping hot coffee. I not only highly recommend RISE Bespoke Bakery, I will use them again and again. Thank you for EVERYTHING!

I was very hesitant about leaving this review but my experience isn’t what I expected overall.
Upon scheduling and sending in inspiration pictures and details via email, I made sure to specify that I wanted the style of cake like the ‘Silver Lining’ cake shown on the website with the colors of a cake from another picture I found for a smash cake for my sons first bday. I even called and spoke with Amy about what we were able to do on top of the cake in which she, herself, suggested they could do a fondant ‘1’ which I was happy about. I brought in my own cake toppers which I gave her creative control to place on the sheet cake and I guess there was a mix up about that bc she thought I meant ‘creative control’ about the rest of the cake and she decided it would be best to not do the fondant ‘1’ on the smash cake and to try to match the colors of the cake to the toppers instead of doing the colors I asked from my inspo pic and changed that without letting me know or asking first if that was okay, leaving me confused about the final product.
Overall the cake wasn’t smooth on the edges like the cakes I saw on her website, colors and icing were not well blended looking very dull and rough looking and the job looked very rushed in general.
I’m left feeling very saddened by this experience as for I was excited to see the outcome and even use this bakery going forward for future bdays and special occasions and this was very important for me to have a nice cake for my sons first bday and we are still going to use the cakes and eat them but Amy contacted me offering a refund and in a way, made me feel as if I didn’t provide enough information about what I was picturing and made it seem like some how the mix up was my doing, despite sending exact details and inspo pictures and even speaking to her on the phone a month in advance about toppings and design.
We went back over the info again upon dropping off toppers two days prior to pick up in whichI thought the final design was set in stone but was changed last minute without my knowledge. I made it known I was not looking for a refund or to get free cakes and I appreciate what she did with the toppers just had higher expectations for what we paid.

My husband and I had a small intimate wedding with a dinner hosted by family instead of a big reception. However, I still wanted cute cake cutting pictures at dinner. I ordered a small 6in cake and it was very delicious! My interactions I had with the company were always friendly and helpful! I will definitely keep them in mind for future events! Thank you to the bakery for making our special day even more special!

I had a small wedding cake (Belle Fleur) and coordinating cupcakes (bouquet) made for a small BBQ reception and they were absolutely gorgeous and delicious! The cakes were very tasty and moist, icing was divine, and the decorations were like flawless artwork. The prices were reasonable and the order was completed and ready to be picked up on time. I would highly recommend Rise Bakery and will definitely use their service again in the future!

Came to Charleston to celebrate my daughter’s 5th birthday, at last minute we decided to get a cake for her and found Rise online, it was super easy to order online, we choose the cake we liked and choose the flavor we liked and next day early in the morning was ready for pick up and omg it was the best cake I ever had. The flavors were amazing. Definitely will come back when I visit Charleston again. Thank you for the amazing mermaid cake!!

Beautiful bakery and delicious selection. By far the best place to get cakes, cake pops, and sweet treats in Charleston area. We got cake pops for our daughter’s third birthday. Only suggestion would be to have some premade treats in store, even if it’s just small stuff, but I understand that likely leads to waste. I probably would’ve spent an additional $50 just to get some more stuff. They were very kind and gave the baby a sample cookie so we didn’t have to open the box prior to the birthday party.
