The place seemed awesome at first but overall the experience was mid at best. I ordered the BYO bowl with pulled pork and the pork was really sweet for some reason?? I mean, I wasn’t expecting anything crazy but I didn’t think I’d be having candy meat. Our server was nice but after bringing us our food she didn’t check in on us and we had to flag her down to get our check. And my husband couldn’t finish his taco because there wasn’t a lot of flavor. Literally almost everything served here is spicy, I ordered mild and my salsa was still spicy. I understand I won’t like every restaurant, but telling your customers their food will be mild or sweet. It should be mild and sweet, not needing a glass of milk spicy.

I have eaten here 3 times as I live nextdoor and each has been a disappointment. Online ordering is a mess, food isn't ready when they say it will be, the second time I ate here one of our tacos arrived cold right out of the kitchen, and tonight I ordered the street corn queso dip only to find a measly 3 corn kernals in the whole dish.
Save your money and time and go to Condado instead.

The staff was kind and friendly, but we had to remind them about our food. Multiple tables that were seated well after we had ordered received their food before us, which tipped us off that our order was forgotten.
I wouldn't have left a review if that was the only problem. The insult to injury was that the tacos were bad, like REALLY bad. We actually threw away the rest of our tacos after eating one. We had to take our order to go since it took so long and we had a show to catch, but if we would have stayed in restaurant we would have 100% sent the food back to the kitchen and left.

I've always loved Barrio- one of my favorite taco places throughout Ohio & Michigan. This one however left something to be desired.
I'm not sure how orders can be messed up when you fill out a scantron menu but somehow I got pulled pork on my taco when I ordered beef & I got no rice or salsa on my taco when it was written down. The food I got wasn't terrible, but it was nothing special. The beer on tap also tasted a little flat if I'm being honest which sucked because they've got a good upcharge on it here.
Barrio is great, but I'd skip this one. Also the parking garage next door is $15 even if you're there for 45 minutes. Pass on this location.

Tacos were so good I almost slipped into a food coma. Great prices and amazing drinks! Ate during happy hour and Maddie recommended the perfect rims for my frozen margaritas every time. Loved the food and drinks!

Never left a review before but this place made me. Tacos are overpriced and taste like school lunch. The salsas were okay at best and had a weird consistency. The chorizo tacos were not chorizo at all and seemed like very fine ground beef with a few seasonings. The venue in itself is pretty cool and gives off good Mexican food vibes, but that is jot the case. Basic tacos were $4.75 which isn’t necessarily bad if the overall tacos were better. The ordering process is nice as you can see and select anything you want from the “test scan ticket” style selection. I have been to plenty of taquerias and other various Mexican restaurants but this was by far the worst. Would not recommend unless you want to see the artwork inside.

There is not a single soul on this planet that runs a bar with such skill, grace, and swagger as Caty does. Not a fan of a playlist so largely comprised of Drake and Kanye, though, or this guy a few stools down. Total douche. Can’t win em all.
