My wife and I were born and grew up in New England. We moved to Michigan a few years ago due to a job change. Periodically, we visit family in Maine to get our "lobster fix". Our son and daughter-in-law gave us a gift certificate to Beacon Corner Bar so we could celebrate our wedding anniversary. Admittedly, we are seafood snobs, and therefore went not having high expectations. It ended up being the perfect anniversary dining experience. Our server was Eli who helped...

It's a cute place. I had shrimp alfredo, which was delicious. Despite being empty when we were there, the staff was a little slow. Other than that, I would consider eating there again when in town.

FRESHEST OYSTERS! Loved the salad dressing and service was commendable! I had the Cioppino it was fresh as well. I like it a little more bright- but this worked. Gumbo had a great roux flavor. Oh get a Pineapple Cocktail- I would go back for that alone!
