I ordered the Honey orange chicken and was greatly disappointed. It was technically well prepared, but the sauce in particular was formulated in such away as to cancel out any flavors.

At least some salt and pepper on the tableI rarely take the time to add a review but I feel this needs attention. We often frequent their restaurant Old mill in Rockford and that service, food, and drinks are Amazing! This location lacks. We waited for wait staff, waited for drinks that had zero flavor and nothing like our other experience (Winters night out mojito) The Caesar salad dressing tasted like mayo and also had minimal flavor, the plate they brought had an immense amount of oil and lacked any attention to plating. The vegetables had no flavor. One win was the fries. Ome cannot mess up those. We will not return.

Solid lunch spot. I popped in for happy hour since I heard they had good deals. I got the green Chile pork nachos. It was a very generous portion for $8. Pretty decent flavor, i wish it came with a lime wedge for a pop of flavor. The service was prompt and friendly even with it being slow. My glass was filled before it was empty. I enjoyed the curated interior. Would make a cute girl lunch spot.

Welcome to Beer City Bread Company in Rockford Michigan! Previously the Old Mill.. i recommend using Toast App to order carry out because you get points toward free food… parking is always a challenge… the renovations look great inside.. also using Toast App you will get a $10 gift you can use.

Very tasty food. The pretzel bites were amazing and definitely worth the price. I had the Alfredo Chicken which was good. My girlfriend had the Pesto Pasta dish, which also looked really good. I think I would try that next time.

Used to love this restaurant! Went there recently and saw that now all of their sandwiches come with chips and you have to upgrade $3 to their fries and signature cheese. The new fries taste like a bag of frozen fries. So disappointing to see such a wonderful restaurant with great service and a great atmosphere totally change their menu. They are known for their beer cheese and now it’s an upgrade. I am hoping they bring back their fries and remove the up charge. Then it would go back to 5 stars!

The food was very good for my whole family except my sandwich, Hot Honey Chicken, was very soggy and I could not eat it. The waitress was nice enough to take it off the bill. Their pretzels and cheese appetizer was wonderful. I also like that they bring a pitcher of water to the table so you can refill glasses a few times without having to wait. Overall a great experience.

I have eaten there twice. The first time I had the bang bang chicken and there was zero spice. Today I had a burger and fries the fries were dry and tasteless and the burger was half the size of the bun. We won’t be back.
