As visitors of Grand Rapids, we were looking for an easy-going place to grab a quick bite.
While the first impression definitely matches Americana dining/sports bar... you'll quickly understand that there is a reason the entire near-lot and across-the-street parking are absolutely packed - even on a random Wednesday night.
Bestside has phenomenal food at a great price, and plenty of seating for walk-in diners. With a solid drink selection and a variety of food options, it's easy to spend an hour or two here enjoying the atmosphere.
Fantastic spot, and glad we stopped here on our visit to Grand Rapids!

We started with a special martini for $8. We added onion rings ($1.50 up charge) to a shaved Tenderloin sandwich ($15.95) and the Junkyard sandwich ($15.95). Both sandwiches were delicious. Kayla R. was very attentive.

Been a long time semi regular and I’m not coming back. The food was okay. Service good. Restrooms are not good. My loyalty points always disappear or are not counted. Even when I provide previous receipts showing $ points available. Always use the same debit card when paying. No one has any explanation as to why.

We had a party of seven and our waitress was great in accommodating everyone, especially with some special requests. The food was very good, and so was the service. It has a wide-open, bright atmosphere.
Our food was delicious. I don't know why the hostess took so long to seat us as there were several tables open. We waited 15-20 minutes. We had to ask for silverware and napkins after our food arrived.
