Big Apple Bagels

The service here is abysmally slow. How do pre prepared bagels take 20 minutes+ to toast and put cream cheese on.

If you’re looking for a quick bite you’re better off going somewhere else.

Place was pretty decent. Only real complaint is that it felt kind of like a cafeteria but that could be the suite they are stuck operating with for the time. And a little more variety on the bagel options would help, but the ones I chose were very good, and the price is right where it should be. Happy.

I love other big apple bagels locations. I’ve only been here twice but was deeply disappointed both times. First time bagels were burnt, second time I think they gave me an onion bagel or some other savory bagel instead of honey oat, with blueberry cream cheese.

Picked out 6 bagels to go. Found out they had a special that day for 12 bagels. For 6 more bagels I only paid another $2!

People are great. Training new staff so a little slower than usual, but still they did good.

I’m very disappointed. I am new to this area three days ago. I saw this place on Instacart and I decided to give it a try. Unfortunately when I arrived I realized I had ordered to the wrong location which is about 10 miles a 20 minute drive away. I expressed to the workers that I was letting family who came to visit and i didn’t have an extra 40 minutes. . They told me they were unable to transfer the water to their location. Which is as I said fine but I asked if I could cancel my order and get a refund because I was unable to make a 20 minute drive and then 20 minute drive back. As a new college student, it’s very difficult in this economy to go 25 miles out of my way.!! They told me I was unable to get a refund and I basically had to go pick it up or else i’d be out the money. The workers were incredibly rude and entitled, and quite literally made me feel so upset with my experience in Grand Rapids.

I went to get muffins today and not only was I ignored until someone walked in after me and made a purchase but the cashier was preparing food and took her glove off to ring us up and instead of changing gloves or even washing her hands put the same glove back on and resumed making food. I was disgusted and frustrated. All around bad experience.

I was a little upset after ordering and waiting for my order to come out after 5 people who ordered after me, this was July 18 8:00am
