This was a terrible experience. Our party of 11 was sat moments after entering at our reserved time. However, that is where the good stuff ends. Our server was very disoriented, easily confused, and did not appear confident in having a party of 11. After finally placing our order after bring there for 45 minutes, we then waited another 90 minutes before receiving our food. While we waited for our food, we spoke to a manager who was working in the kitchen and he simply blamed our displeasure on the kitchen being understaffed, having a full restaurant, and a busy take out. He made no attempt to recitify the situation and simply walked away from us. When we did get our food, it was luke warm at best. We ordered 3 salads with chicken, 4 kids meals, 2 burgers, potstickers, egg rolls, chicken wings without sauce, and jambalya; Nothing that warranted a 90 minute wait. Our poor children were restless and hungry and our birthday girl was less than pleased. Our server never seemed bothered by the fact that we were watitng so long. He was very oblivious. No one at our table received refilled drinks and we had to ask for the kids meals to finally be brought out separately so they could at least eat. When the adult food finally came out, the jambalya was cool and when asked to throw it in the microwave, that took another 12 minutes. A different manager finally came over and attempted to appease us, but by that time, we were so beyond pleasing. And, to top it off, there was still the 18% gratuity added on despite our server not deserving it. We will NEVER return to this place and will discourage others from ever going. Another reasone to NOT patron chain restaurants. I will stick with small local establishments from now on.

We went for my Dad's 78th birthday. We had 9 so we made a reservation. We still had to wait over 30 minutes and were seated in a booth so it was a little tight. Service was slow getting drinks to our table. The kitchen neglected to make my dad's dinner so as we're all eating, he's just waiting. Fries came out cold, steak underdone, wrong beer served, just a bit of a mess. We were done by the time the birthday boy's dinner came out. Our waitress was sweet, she was trying, and we were given free pizookie coupons to use another time and they comped my dad's dinner so they tried to make up for the errors. I've been to other BJs locations and have always had a good experience so this was disappointing.

Weds night date night- had 11.99 burgers and happy hour beers. Our waitress was so sweet and attentive. Can't remember her name. You are supposed to sit in the bar for happy hour but if you ask, they will honor it in the dining room. She recommended signing up for rewards so that we would get a free pizzookie.

Well we started off by getting seated quite a bit passed our reserve time Request for fries to be extra extra well done They were not ,waited 5 minutes for a new order My wives chicken Alfredo was horrible ,pasta was horrible,chicken was dried out,only ate the broccoli ,the waitress looked at it and said I will take that off your bill ,I don't understand why you have cooks that serve bad food????? We probably won't be back ,and we probably will share the news with our friends,

So the service was good. They were all out of season beer and many of the other beers they make themselves. They also were out of Pepsi. I would say the food was not great for the money you spend.

Wow!! Can't believe I have been missing this place in my life!! Very busy on the weekend, but good problem to have!! Had the prime rib special and it melted in my mouth! Definitely will be back!

We tried to eat here a few weeks ago, but there was a 2 hour wait so we were smart this time around and made a reservation. Well, the reservations are literally pointless.I made the reservation a day in advance and even called to let them know we were for sure coming and we still walked in and had to wait an hour and 10 mins, along with everyone else that had reservations. We finally get seated and the food was gross. I took two bites of my sandwich and my boyfriend, who usually eats anything, left his food on his plate with no to go box. $75 wasted. The server was very sweet and apologetic and the building itself is beautiful, that was the only positives. I wanted to love this place!

Waited 2 hrs when told it would be 1:15. When our party noticed other people that showed up after us being seated, the staff acted clueless. Talked to a manager, no accountability. I recommend going to one of the many other great restaurants in the area. Dumpster fire ?.

3 strikes for my wife and I and this place is out. It’s been just over 6 months from opening and if anything services has gotten worse.1st attempt we visited while the national training staff was still there. We waited over 3 hours for a table of 10 for a birthday party and then ANOTHER 2 hours for food to finally arrive, and even then two of our parties entree’s just never came out to the table.The next two times it’s just been the two of us attempting to sit at the bar with similar experiences. It’s as if the wait staff just does not care you are there. We sat at the bar with dirty plates in front of us from the previous guests for over 15 minutes before they were removed by a bus worker. An additional 15 minutes of not even being greeted by a bartender and we left.For a national chain, this place is pathetic and if anything has gotten worse since opening. With how many great options there are in Grand Rapids, we do not plan on going back.

My fiancé and I visited this restaurant and had a pretty awful experience. We have always heard good things and we have been to another location, and their food was great. This was unfortunately not the case. We waited at the table for an hour and a half after we ordered before we even saw our waiter. When the food finally came out the manager had told us that they happened to be out of ribs when we ordered and instead of coming to talk to us about it they just let us sit there. We really wished they would've communicated better than they did, because if we knew it was going to take them that long to cook the ribs then we would have left. To add onto this we received only one of the sides we ordered and we were told that the side of asparagus would be on its way out as they had to remake it for us, but when we got that there was a giant hair laying under all the asparagus. The manager was avoiding our eye contact as the bill came because we had asked for the side of asparagus to be taken off our bill. We had to ask a hostess (who was the only helpful person on their staff that cared to help) to get the manager for us and then she finally came over. She ended up taking care of our bill for us which was very nice, but when doing so she was very short with us and it seemed as though she was annoyed at us. We will never be back.

We experienced the best service that we have experiences any where tonight from April! She was thoughtful, professional, personal and persuasive. She communicated well and took care of everything. The food was great and the service culture inside the store was top notch! We will be back!
