BOLD Cigar Bar & Lounge

I was in Grand Rapids Michigan for training about a month ago. I stopped by Bold to check it out. Met Cigar Bob. The humidor had a great selection. Cigars were hat were unique to me he shop. I bought a grip. I’m smoking my last one today and thought I’d share my wonderful experience there. I will definitely come back the next time I’m in town.

Best spot I have been to all year. The owner she is amazing and always informative on the business of cigars and good drinks. If you go ask for the owner and tell her that Ms. Kiwi and Muhammad send y'all threw to enjoy yourself.

5 stars all the way. Now that Kate has been managing it, the changes are all for the better. The place now has a welcoming atmostphere with a nice selection of drinks and Cigars. A must visit if you have never been

If you haven’t visited Bold in the last year, it’s time to go. What a transformation. New management and the vibe is so welcoming. I hadn’t been there in over 4 years because of my last experience with the previous owner and his stupid rules. None of that!
Welcoming, casual atmosphere, great selection of cigars and the drink menu is endless. Best part is that the prices are reasonable. Go check it out. I’m glad I went back.

Great relaxing atmosphere. Light on the bourbon and cigar selection. They have $15.00 cutting fee if you bring in your own cigars.

It was a nice experience. Very helpful in assisting me in choosing a proper cigar for my taste. Atmosphere was inviting.

Smells from the outside. Hate passing this place.

Nice lounge. Positive changes are being made to create a more friendly atmosphere. So come for a visit. No longer stodgy stogies atmosphere

Great service and solid selection! Have had a few sticks that are too squishy or the wrapper cracks. Other than that the ambience is great and staff are 10/10.

Great experience with great customer service! The variety of cigar selection is a little limited, and with higher pricing but great atmosphere! Would definitely recommend

Super Edit has completely transformed under Kate’s leadership. The atmosphere is now much more positive, creating a space where everyone seems to genuinely enjoy themselves.

Owner became very drunk came at me attempting to state how I was not a real veteran. (Had my Afghanistan hat on). Prior would spend around a 500-1000 with groups. Forgave the guy was coming back with another group of people planning on spending same normal range guy asked our group to leave. Has very serious mental issues that may need to be addressed.His wife is very pleasant person and is probably the reason, for most the 5 star reviews.

1. the drunk owner Al kept coming to the corner and I couldn’t go to bathroom because my friends wanted me to stay away from Al because “he was drunk”

2. He called me a fake veteran I have a DD214 combat infantry from Afghanistan have done suicided prevention for years, very publicly documented and paid personally for the Veterans Day parade. I then brought 2 filled tables of people into your establishment and paid the bill after that parade.

3. This incident was after two visits of him accusing me of being a fake veteran and just after the parade which i just assume he was drunk because been there done that bought the tshirt. But when I have spent 10s of thousands of my personal money on my fellow veterans and suicide prevention his accusations and personal conduct are insane.

In the end he has something serious going on in his head and has to see someone. I’m certain than normally he is a good person it’s not on me.

I’ve done enough mental health with people that it is a real concern and he truly needs to get this addressed.

Nice room with nice patrons and staff. They didn't have the stick I was looking for but did suggest a similar one I was not familiar with and it turned out better than the one I wanted.
