I eat here often when I'm in GR. Good place to meet up w/ friends. Have never had anything I didn't like: Goulash, prime rib, liver & onions, wet burritos.
This place is busy for a reason. Very good drinks, 🍸 🍹 friendly staff & lots of regulars.

Parking: Parking can get tight in the lot like during Happy Hour

I was pleasantly surprised to find this place. I wanted to get some work done while new tires were installed on my car at Discount Tire. This locally owned restaurant was right behind it. Easy/fast WiFi. Friendly staff and customers.

Goulash was totally cold, some of the noodles were hard. It was clear this had been sitting out for a while, which is a very dangerous food safety issue. The fries were overcooked and rock hard.

Worse wet burrito I have ever had.

Extensive menu for a bar pub. The ‘goulash’ was more macaroni and beef in tomato sauce (not the Hungarian goulash I think of) but was VERY tasty!
The BLT was crispy and plentiful. These were the luncheon sized plates and were more than ample.
Great selection of beers - more than one stout option, which is a real plus for me.
Service was very fast, accurate and friendly.
Would definitely recommend and come back again.

Taco salad was really good. Hamburger meat was a very fine texture, seasoned well. Lots of lettuce, cheese and tomatoes. Skimpy chips and tortilla strips. Service was stellar. Glad we ate on the screened in porch, much quieter than the inside area.

The food is the best thing about this place. The Reuben I had was excellent and the fries with it were crisp and hot. The service was mediocre. The hostess said there was a spot on their patio to sit so I said sure. She led me to a makeshift card table with metal folding chairs. I said thanks but no thanks and ended up sitting inside. I asked the server if they serve any non alcoholic beer. She said she thinks so, then grabbed a drink menu to double check. As she was looking I asked for a particular brand and that jogged her memory. Then when time to order I asked how much the special was and she said she wasn't sure. She thought $21 (which I find astronomical for pot roast). As far as decor... well overdue for a facelift. The place hasn't been renovated in I dare say 30 years. Scuffed doors, booths and paint.

Parking: Limited number in the front. More in the back but not adequate during busy times. No street parking available.

Kid-friendliness: It's generally loud there...not loud so you can't carry on a conversation but loud enough that kids being kids won't attract attention. I'm sure they have nac and cheese and nuggets and probably pizza for kids

Wheelchair accessibility: I believe it is. It is all on one floor and I don't recall there being steps

One of my favorite pub style restaurants by far. The food is always hot and delicious when ordered and the servers are always very friendly. I've ordered sandwiches, pasta, steak, fish, and I honestly don't have any complaints. The service is very good which I like. Their parking could be better and the place gets pretty busy in the early to mid afternoon. Aside from that I definitely recommend.
