Hadn't been here in a long time but as soon as I saw the SAME manager from the 6-4 visit I began recording in case I needed to share with customer service. Although I HIGHLY doubt they even care. And as usual even arriving 9 minutes after they received the order the delivery order was not ready. And not only that I could see the bag with the name sitting on the pass thru counter. I waited about 4 minutes before even being helped. Then she decided to finish it putting the fries in the bag with the obviously what were cold burgers now. So that immediately kills the we wait so the food doesn't get cold lie. Also these managers will LIE to you and say they go in order they don't. And it's obvious they lie BECAUSE AGAIN YOU CAN SEE THE ORDER SCREENS. The left drive thru screen had 6 orders on it and the lobby one had 4 when I arrived. And when I left the drive thru had 1 and lobby screen had the one order for the guy in line before me. And AGAIN I watched her bag and serve 3 orders on the lobby screen AFTER the order I was there for. And she bagged 3 of the orders from the drive thru screen as well. But again we know drive thru orders are the all important speed numbers. All told from them receiving the order to me receiving it 14 minutes. I can definitely understand being busy but that amount of time for 2 burgers and a fry? And she's of the mindset that my time or fast service the customer who ordered food are way less important (which was obvious from the food sitting there for almost 5 minutes getting cold) than some one who ordered in the restaurant or drive thru. But this is the typical terrible service from this location and most of the other locations in town. (Although I have yet to try the reopened Plainfield location) Which is why I haven't personally ordered from this location in over 3 years. I will drive 10 miles out of my way to 44th or Alpine if my s.o. or I crave a whopper. And the new owner who purchased the local chain and reopened several of these restaurants obviously cares LESS than the previous owner. Because their ratings are still terrible and nothing is improving.
6-4-25 New AWFUL customer service here. Arrived 5 minutes AFTER receiving the order. I waited patiently in line while 2 people ordered ahead of me. Told the staff member which delivery order I was there for. Then she got the food for the person who was waiting for their order which I understood. But then she got the food for BOTH people who had ORDERED AFTER I ARRIVED and I was waiting in line. EVEN THOUGH THE RECEIPT FOR MY ORDER WAS THE FIRST IN LINE. I DIDN'T RECEIVE THE FOOD UNTIL 15 MINUTES AFTER I RECEIVED THE ORDER AND 10 MINUTES AFTER I ARRIVED. And when I asked her about it she literally told me it was because THOSE PEOPLE WERE PHYSICALLY HERE WHICH MEANT SHE DIDN'T CONSIDER ME OR THE PERSON I WAS DELIVERING TO WAS A VALID CUSTOMER. AND SHE WAS A MANAGER. She attempted to use the kitchen had to cook the food which was a lie because I saw the food sitting in the warmer. And then the were understaffed excuse even THOUGH SHE LITERALLY SKIPPED MY ORDER WHICH SHOULD HAVE BEEN THE FIRST ORDER BAGGED. Then she tried to say she had good customer service and I'd be wasting my time to contact the corporate customer service or leave this review on Google. Well we'll see about that. Though I know the owner doesn't care how terrible his restaurants are. Which is probably why 3 or 4 of his locations got closed PERMANENTLY! As is proved by NOTHING EVER getting corrected. And you know it's a HORRIBLE customer service experience when you think to yourself this is worse than McDonald's or Taco Bell.

There aren't many Burger King's left in the area but this has been the most pleasant to visit. I went in for lunch today around 12:45 and things were busy but running smoothly. The counter staff were incredibly friendly. All facilities were clean and tidy, including the bathrooms - that's saying something for being next to a college campus.

Sat at the speaker forever. Nobody answered me. Kept taking orders of people in the other lane and when I finally was answered the woman acted as if I done something wrong by saying hello?? Worst service I have ever experienced. Younger girl with straight brown hair and heavy set manager with curly hair had attitudes at the window. Act like they own the place and obviously do not care about loosing customers.

I went to the drive through around 10 pm 3/1/2025 the girl taking orders did not greet me at all. I sat there for a few minutes at the second speaker and she finally answered the person at the first speaker. She took their order and they pulled ahead a line formed behind me and in the other lane as I waited to be greeted still nothing. Then all the signs went black like when they are closed. Still nobody said anything so I said “hello?…. Are you open, hello??” Still nobody answer! Then the light flickered back on and still I’m not greeted at this point I’ve been sitting there a while and no answer. Then I heard the girls voice on the first speaker, she greeted the person after me. So I honked my horn and said hello? The customer whose order she was taking informed her I had been waiting first and she told them “if she wants to order she can come inside. I’m not taking her order.” So I went to the first window and the girl still ignored me and when I didn’t move she rolled her eyes and called her manager over. Her manager told me I have to go back through the line which was now really long and order my food. I told her I’ve been waiting a long time and the order taker is refusing to even greet me. The employee then chimes in and says I can’t take everyone’s order at once. I told her yes but you can take them in order. She then said she couldn’t see me there and didn’t know I was there. I told her I was saying hello and she said she could hear me honking and saying hello. So I asked why didn’t she answer me and she rolled her eyes and stop talking. Then the manager just says I’m not taking your order at the window you can go back through the drive through!!! I’m paraphrasing a lot, but they were really rude. I was on my break from work and they could see that because they even mentioned the place that I worked at. they knew from the beginning I didn’t have time to go back through the line. I told them I was only on break and only went through their drive-through because there was no line when I pulled up. They refused to take my order and I asked to talk to a higher manager and they said there wasn’t one available so I asked for a corporate’s number and they told me they don’t have a corporate number or a higher up number and then they asked me what the number was to my corporate office. They were very unprofessional and rude. I have worked out a lot of restaurants in my life even fast food, and that stuff would have never flown in any restaurant I’ve worked at. There is no reason to be rude to customers. There’s no reason to refuse to serve them when they’re not doing anything but waiting for you to answer them. I’d be surprised if this Burger King doesn’t have other complaints about these two employees because I can tell it’s not the first time that they have Acted in this manner to customers. I will definitely be informing friends and family because this is a restaurant that a lot of my family lives near. It’s a wonder why Burger King’s are going out of business.

So many times I pull up to the speaker to order, then sit there for several minutes while another car pulls up to the other speaker. Gets serviced right away and I'm stuck waiting. I eventually yell "hello?" Just to be greeted with, " We'll be with you in just a moment" then left waiting another 2 to 5 minutes. Not sure how this burger king is still in business since this has happened to me and several other people so frequently.

PATHETIC! Every time I go here they forgot something, tonight it was a Hersey Pie.. 0/10 it’s literally every time. Worst BK in Grand Rapids and maybe the state
