Life changing. I’ve been here twice in 10 days but we literally live an hour and a half north. It’s worth the price and the drive. I’ve never had better service and food anywhere. Fine dining without the hassle or anxiety. You can come in sandals and a T-shirt or a suit n tie, and receive equally exemplary service. 10/10 if there ever was one, and if you knew me personally and how I normally rate things, that’s a literally almost impossible benchmark to meet. I will be back for every date night or special occasion I have. This is the one . You have found it.

Arrogant, rude (male) manager (was in the bar washing glasses) ruined the experience. Need to retrain that one on how to approach paying customers. He does not own the place and HE seemed very unhappy employee. He should be in the back of the kitchen and not interact with guests.

Butcher’s Union is our go-to restaurant in Grand Rapids to celebrate a big life event. You always feel taken care of by the staff and then the food is incredible. We had crispy Brussel sprouts that had a great pop of flavor with the maple glaze.
We each had a steak, a NY Strip and a Sirloin. Each were very tender and cooked to our desired temperature. The sauce and potatoes on each were crispy and fluffy and the flavors came together to create a perfect dish.
Really can’t recommend this place enough. I’d also say they take reservations now and that is incredibly helpful.

Cocktails like the squirming coil, a smoked old fashioned they only charge $12 for and I usually pay over $20 at other lounges. The wagyu beef tartar is out of this world, but get an early reservation because they're limited availability and they sell out often.

This place is incredible! Everything was amazing from the burger, fries topped with a fried egg, the chopped salad and the shrimp with buratta cheese focaccia. Nicole was exceptional and she made sure our dietary preferences were met! Great experience from start to finish. The best burger I've had in Grand Rapids ? and possibly ever which means alot coming from a Chicagoian!
