Initially approaching the counter to place my order, with no staff member to be seen, was a little off putting. However, after waiting a minute or so, I could see that they were busy in the back. As soon as they saw me, they came up right away. The staff member was very attentive, and happy to answer questions about food selections. The food was great and the service even better. I look forward to returning and trying other dishes they have to offer.

I am a regular customer, because always receive outstanding service, a warm smile, and the most hospitable interactions from the staff. I love their chicken gyro bowl and recommend the baklava and dolma:)

Unfortunately the wait was really long and the bowl wasn’t great. The meat was greasy, the toppings sparse, and it wasn’t worth the price :/

This is the first time I'm leaving a review and here is why. My daughter's baby shower at Downtown Market was catered by Cafe de Miro and it was very disappointing. I was extremely embarrassed to present the food to my guests. The chicken kabob was burnt and dry. The spanakopitas was not cooked all the way and instead of crispy it was mushy and burnt. we ordered the saute green beans and we got bean stew which wasn't bad but was not what I had asked for and had confirmed with the owner. In all it did not seem to have been prepared by professional. The food was much better at tasting session and absolutely not the same at the party. the owners are very nice but not professional. They might be best not to cater and stick to the restaurant serving. There was a charge for a server to be present during the lunch however I had to run to the restaurant multiple times for items missing.Unfortunately Downtown Market gives limited choices for Catering.

First time at Cafe de Miro, Had been to the Market Place location many times, first time here. The decor was nice. Thought it was weird being asked to tip prior to service when i paid. Makes me wonder if they dont teust people......Ordered a Gyro, took what seemed like a long time to get it, wasn't impressed. Expected more flavor from Middle Eastern style food. The gentlemen I spoke to was not hospitable at all. The whole place seems to be run by seat of pants philosophy.

Just got a the mozzarella and avacado panini. Horrible customer service. Dude barley said anything to me. He was eating in back before he helped me. He was eating in back as my sandwich was getting made. Then I go to eat my sandwich an it's floppy. Soggy. Falling apart. I will never go back here and will never recommend it to anyone.

Fresh choices, very interesting menu. Small cafe so it can get crowded. Service took long for simply an espresso. Otherwise it would be 5*

Don’t come here if you’re hungry, I got the gyro with rice for $15 and the portion you can judge for yourself in the picture but it was small. Also got a kale salad with falafel that was medium sized but had no dressing on it ?‍♂️The food itself wasn’t bad, falafel I would say is good. The gyro is above average, the rice was okay. They also put the worlds smallest amount of taziki sauce.I won’t come here again, when restaurants give you cheap portions and think it’s profitable they’re absolutely wrong, never coming back.

I have been to the downtown market dozens of times but today was my very first time trying Cafe de Miro and OH MY GOSH…this food is incredible! I grabbed the fettuccine Alfredo and added their delicious herb chicken. My partner tried their grilled cheese panin with smoked turkey. The men that work there were so sweet and told me I made the best choice and they were right! This is my new favorite fettuccine Alfredo! They even gave me some pistachio baklava!

I ordered a Gyro and Greek Fries. The gyro was pretty substantial. It could easily be split if you want a lunch on the lighter side. The meat is housemade (a rarity) which was a great addition, but I wish it had a bit more oomph to it flavor wise. The Greek fries were ok, they do provide a large portion of fries. I was hoping they would toss the fries in sumac and other Kurdish/Greek seasonings before topping them. That way you had flavor in every bit and not just the fries at the top. I definitely want to try the Kurdish tea and Dolmas next time! Overall the service was pretty quick for a Friday around noon at the market. At $31.40 after tip, it is a pricier lunch if you don't split it.

Gyro: Very filling & full of meat/tzatziki/cheese/tomatoes/onions/lettuce. On pita was so good, I bet on rice it'd be just as good. The meat wasn't too dry (it wasn't super moist either), but with the tzatziki it balanced out. Great flavor. Dolma (?): good flavor. There are quite a few options on the menu, including salads, dessert, and breakfast options.

Don’t eat here unless you want food poisoning. Up all night puking since 6pm dinner and still puking strong.
