Our waiter didn't take our entree order for almost 20 minutes after our starters were already finished. He then forgot to enter our side order of mashed potatoes. When the food came out it was cold.
Everyone was so friendly. Everything we ate was absolutely delicious! The prices were a bit high, but the ambience was great. The one thing I would mention is that all the soups we received were scalding hot. But a wonderful experience overall!
We came into Mertens Prime on a quieter night just hoping for a relaxed dinner together, and it ended up being one of those unexpectedly perfect evenings. The dining room felt cozy and calm, the lighting was warm, and we never felt rushed. It was so nice to actually talk, laugh, and just enjoy each other without a loud crowd or hectic energy.
