Had passed this place fore a while and always heard good things. Walked in and asked for the recommendation for my carry out order and received the three taco meal with beans and rice. Absolutely the best Mexican food I've had here in Grand Rapids!

This is everyone's favorite place. The tacos are the classical GO TO. They have great seasoning for meat in the asada. I'm giving it a 4/5 stars because the torta I got had too much bread for meat ratio. It was slightly dry and underwhelming. I might order it again at another time and try again. The price for the food is slightly higher than the others in the area but overall still a great place to go for a quick bite.

Ate here last week, and got food poisoning. Had their chicken quesadilla which I love and have had many times prior. Chicken from the get go tasted a bit funky, major bummer.

As a Mexican American these are the closest to authentic style tacos I could find. Not the best I've ever had but do a good job overall for West Michigan. You can also get your tacos American style though if you're not a fan of cilantro and onion. Salsa are nice and actually spicy.

The authenticity of the dishes is incomparable, totillas made at the moment, carnitas prepared every morning and the authentic goat birria and lamb barbacoa are unique, accompanied by delicious drinks such as Jamaican waters and Horchata, as well as delicious and warm Champurrado and Atole Be Cookie, we are waiting for you!!!

Unfortunately, pretty disappointed. I have eaten hear a handful of times. My husband and I decided to get DoorDash. We paid extra money for guacamole and chips and an extra side of rice and beans. We did not receive the guacamole and chips or the extra side of rice and beans. It is very sad because we paid extra money for these things. If you are thinking of door, dashing here, rethink it, because they are not fully satisfying.

Upon entering everyone was extremely friendly. Both guests and the people working. It felt like a family or perhaps like Cheers where everyone knows your name. It's easy to see why this place is so popular. It didn't take long for them to get insanely packed either and it was close to closing which is 11pm and not midnight. I arrived a good 30 minutes before 11pm and placed a to go order. For my meal I decided to try a few things, so that I could get a real feel for what they had to offer. This lead to two steak tacos, a steak tostada meal, and a steak burrito. The steak taco was moist and full of flavor. There was the perfect amount of spice. Although someone who is not use to authentic might be a bit skittish. The burrito was near perfection with flavor. Moist and spice with everything nice inside. The tostada was extremely flavorful, but I horrible mess. All together I would eat here again and highly recommend it. The price was worth it and as a bonus they have glass bottles for jarritos.

My kiddo and I stopped by here today randomly and I am so glad we did. The food is so good! We shared two carnitas tacos and a mango Jarritos. The meat was super tender, flavorful, and juicy and I loved how the cilantro was finely chopped (I don't always love getting a mouthful of leaves)! The employees were incredibly kind to both of us. Both the seating area and bathroom were exceptionally clean, as well. Highly recommend!

This place, I don't know how they stay in business ha. Their price is very reasonable and probably consider cheap in 2023. $9.99 for large quesadilla. $15 carne asada. Huge portion, service is pretty good, probably better if you know Espanol. Food is authentic and pretty healthy depends on what you order. The only complain is they don't really refill your drink and they don't have charro beans, because I don't like refried beans. Weekend they open until 2am I think. Just crazy in 2023 this place exist. Parking also can be a problem in this location. It is very tight especially if you drive truck

The dry and burnt carnitas, tortillas don't even look like cardboard... I don't recommend it.
