The iced cafe miel was one of the best lattes I’ve ever had
I have to admit I'm pretty biased because I worked for the Eastwood location for 13 years. however the company has grown and continued without me, and I'm happy to say that it is still as good of a bookstore and Community Gathering Spot as it ever was. I always go there to get my books and talk with knowledgeable sales staff about fun literature and new ideas for gifts.
Stopped here for lunch as my mom also needed to look for a book for her book club. I ordered a Mediterranean salad. Reading from the menu "mixed greens, red onion, mushroom and cucumber with balsamic vinaigrette and brie croutons". My first clue should have been the description in the singular because it was basically a plate of very overpriced greens with a thin slice of onion and 2 of the thinnest slices of mushroom I have ever seen and a tiny piece of cucumber. Not a crouton in sight. I also added chicken to the salad which was cold and dry. I'm uncertain as to how Chapbook considers this a salad and something that they would actually charge for and serve to their guests.

This store is not what it used to be. No longer feels, looks, smells, or sounds like a beloved bookstore. What happened to selling books? It doesn’t have anywhere near the ambiance or the selection it used to have. Just not the same. So disappointed.
Great food and great coffee. My wife and I had a great, chill date night. Would recommend for a relaxing sit by the fire with a good cup of coffee.

It's a peaceful cafe with a bookstore, but the glass of the iced latte they gave me left someone else's lipstick.

Best cheesecake I've ever had IN MY LIFE! It was the raspberry white chocolate Oreo. Delicious! Everything else was great, too.
I love the place very peaceful.
A bit expensive and the food counter can be slow when they are busy.

Good place for a meeting. Roomy and open space. Not crowded so feels like a private place even when it gets busy. Nice variety of food on the menu for whatever time of day you come.

Chapbook Cafe is a lovely oasis in the Schuyler Books store. We enjoy hanging out with friends or simply having a quiet place to read. The food was very good today. The help seemed overtired and harried. If you want to have a great place to mingle with friends, try them out.
