Don't get me wrong, the food is good but... I ordered a bowl of fried rice and a side of crab Rangoon, I paid 3.99 for the side and when I opened it there was a single crab rangoon. Yup, you read that right, 4 bucks for ONE crab rangoon. Not ordering again. What a ripoff.

I can’t go to GR without a quick stop to Char! Seriously, if you haven’t eaten here, you should question your life choices! Original and delicious food and drink selections, not to mention BAKLAVA. Service is awesome, and food is fast and amazing. Run, don’t walk to get you some loaded won ton nachos!

Really tasty tacos but spending over $20 for 3 tacos and a drink is kind of nuts. It’s a get food quick and leave type of place, not a dining experience that makes you want to stay long.

This place was incredible!! Came to Holland, MI from Chicago for a weekend retreat and found this place online. The tacos drew us here, but we were not prepared for how amazing the food actually was!! Followed the owners recs and had the beef and shrimp tacos. The shrimp tacos were especially good! Friend who ordered the broth bowl said it was top notch!We plan to add this spot to our yearly retreat!Keep it up!!

This place is FIRE! Food was 100% authentic, sauces are made in store, bread is made fresh, and the have many halal options! On top of all of that, their service was top of the line!!!! 10/10 would definitely recommend.

I've been going to Char for years and they don't make a single bad thing. It has become one of my favorite restaurants in GR. I recommend the Asian tacos and ALWAYS get a cheese wonton!

My brother and I stopped here today and had such a great experience. Abdul was helpful in picking out what we should order and which toppings we’d like, as we’d never been before. Loved both the loaded wonton nachos and the steak tacos!! Great spot in GR!
