Drinks were great, music a little too loud, hard to talk worth friends over that noise. With softer music, the experience would have been superb. Not sure I'll come back.

I love this place! The staff is passionate and knowledgeable about wine without a hint of pretention. So welcoming and warm! A caviar bump with a wine chaser will make your night!

Whether you are looking for a morning coffee spot or a late night glass of wine, this is the spot. Everything we’ve had here (coffee, pastries, appetizers, wine and cocktails) has been excellent, and we especially appreciate that they are open late on Sunday.

Truly great coffee, wonderful service, yummy wine, gorgeous ambiance, and I love that it’s tipping free. The menu prices seem a bit steep at face value, but that’s because they’ve forgone gratuity in order to pay a living wage to their staff. Go here!

My boyfriend and I stopped here for a glass a wine while waiting for a table at Grove. The wine was incredible, the staff was friendly and attentive, and the atmosphere was perfect. Lighting is EVERYTHING -- and they really got the ambience right. Can't wait to return next time I'm in Grand Rapids.

This place is the best natural wine bar. Such a great wine spot for any occasion. The food is snacky and delicious… feels like I’m back in Spain.
Obsessed! Must go.

Wow. This space is beautiful. Honestly, I couldn’t get enough of it, and I even included a bathroom shot in here because it’s no less part of the wonderful experience of tasteful paint, arrangements, furniture, and refreshing lack of busyness. Full disclosure, I’m not a wine drinker, so this isn’t your review for vetting that. I AM a coffee drinker, and they serve Sey Coffee from NY (which is good stuff). If their wine selection and service is anything like the intentionality that seems to be in everything else, that will also be worth your time. There is some outdoor seating in the back. Chateau is open for coffee in the morning and into the late afternoon, and while I’m sure they still serve coffee upon request, they make a restaurant shift toward wine parties at around 4ish. I continued to finish a few work emails during that transition, and while glasses were being put out on tables all around me, I didn’t receive pressure to leave, which is great! But I’m sure they would appreciate the help achieving the feel for their evening without laptops and books like mine ?.

Tried to go twice when open based on posted hours, and they weren’t open either time. UPDATE YOUR HOURS
Want to love this place but service bummed me out today. Had a reservation for a pop up dinner and was not greeted until 7:25 (got there at 7) while tables around us were greeted/taken care of/cashed out/given more wine. Seemed like everyone knew everyone except us and we were ignored. I know the reservation dinner is a new concept to this establishment but the customer service lacked. From one industry person to another, I hope it gets better. Rarely do I have an evening off and to spend it somewhere that made me feel ignored makes me sad.

I was really excited about this place but it kinda fell flat. We went on Friday night and despite it not being busy at all didn’t get very attentive service. When we first arrived the door seemed locked and because there was barely anyone inside we almost left but someone came and let us in. The wine was good but all at pretty high price points ($15-$20 per glass). We had two different people helping our table and they often both left before we had finished our sentence so we didn’t get a chance to order food until we had already been there for a half hour because they never came back to check on us. Most of the time the employees were on their phones behind the counter. There were only 2 other tables there. This place has a lot of potential if they can mix in some better price point wines and up their service because it could be a great spot!
