The waitstaff is great and trying to keep up with little support. No more entertainment, prices have gone up, as anywhere. Renovations anywhere would be welcome, parking lot, bathrooms, outside deck 😞
*Edit parking lot has been resurfaced
Entertainment is back. Sound system needs work. Some of my favorute waitstaff is gone, new specials coming! Keep improving!

Great burger, amazing fries.

- All American Burger - $15: HUGE! It is a half pound burger and on the larger size of half pound. I ordered it medium and it was medium on the inside, but a bit darker on the outside. It had a charcoal flavor, but I confirmed it was actually cooked on a flat surface griddle. It was juicy and delicious.

Overall, it was a wider burger which helps it stay together. I ordered ketchup and mayo and it did slide around, but mainly stayed together. The lettuce, onion, and tomato were all fresh and crisp. The bun was a bit above average. Overall, I thoroughly enjoyed this burger!

- Pub Fries (comes with the burger): A little light on the salt. If they had the right amount of salt, I’d call these my favorite. They are battered perfectly. They are medium cut. The texture was amazing and cooked just right.

- Basket of Pub Fries- $9: Probably a little on the small side for what you pay, but great fries!

They do have weekly specials and events. They did not have prices for the desserts and we had to ask. I believe the cheesecake was around $6 (we did not get it).

- Service: Helpful for sure. Answered all our questions and was prompt. Got our order right. Refilled my water without me noticing! The burger was served within 15 minutes (as expected).

- Atmosphere: Lots of wood trim. Warm feel. It was clean and organized. We had a bit of an issue finding the host (as you come in the door from Plainfield) to be seated since we came in the side door. The bathroom has a TV so you don’t miss the game (if you are concerned).

Tables and chairs as well as booths. Outside there are tables and chairs. They also have a swinging apparatus that has a bench and table connected and you push with your feet. Pretty cool!!

- Conclusion: I’d highly recommend them for their burgers and fries. The service and atmosphere were great, too.

Visited on a Saturday at 6pm.

Disappointing takeout of 2 Santa Fe salads. Menu here showed $12.99; was charged $15.99 plus an extra dollar each salad because I asked for Romaine lettuce. And that request was fulfilled with 3 large root pieces that should have been trashed, not served. Very little chicken. Wasn’t asked about tableware but good thing I took it home: no napkins or tools.

We went on a Saturday afternoon and it was dead as a door nail and Im pretty sure that's the usual cuz it was obvious the B Team was working the floor while the Big Dogs were resting before the Banger Night Shift. I won't elaborate much, but we were getting up after 15 minutes to grab menus from the wait station.
The upside was that the food was pretty darn good, and the presentation was great!
Cheers has still got some solid vibe after all these years.

I had the fish and chips and they were delicious! 4 large planks of pollack, hand dipped in the restaurant - which is essential for good fish and chips. My wife had potato skins. She loved them and the portion size was large, so plenty to take home. This was my second visit and both have been stellar.

Don't expect everyone to call out your name when you walk in, but they do have good food and a friendly staff. I would most certainly eat there again!

First time here , had the burrito, was ok, but not the best . Subpar

Took 30+ minutes before food came out after placing order , was not that busy .

Waitress stood around talking to another customer a couple times carrying on a 10 minute conversation each time .

Was chilly in here .

Couple came in shortly after us , placed their order , and had it in less than 20 minutes !
So why did we wait 30+ minutes for ours ?
