Came here for the first time today. I ordered the chicken creole, my brother got the chicken and shrimp gumbo. We both taste tested each others meals.
Now as someone who hasn’t had Caribbean food until I came here, take this with a grain of salt.
I have never been so blown away by flavors. I feel as though my tastebuds transcended. My soul has been forever enriched by my first experience there. I cannot put into words how good the food was, both the creole and the gumbo was a life changing experience. You can tell the chef puts their heart and soul into what they do just by what you’re tasting.
If you’re thinking about coming here, do it and don’t hesitate. 10/10
Only advice is be careful with your spice level, you can choose 1-10, I had chosen 1 and it was a little spicy but just right. 2 would’ve been overkill.

In Grand Rapids for a short work trip and discovered this amazing family owned spot. The food is SO fresh and you can tell it’s made with love. I’m so happy I stopped in and would recommend anyone to come!
Nice small restaurant. Haitian/Caribbean food with spice levels. The only reason for not getting 5 stars is that there was only 1 server, and the wait was kinda long. But that is to be expected in such a small establishment that was recently featured on a social media review blog.
