The owner Olga was su h a delight. Beautiful soul, positive vibe and a beautiful smile. Her gift in the kitchen and her personality was FANTASTIC! I felt like I was with a friend. Food delicious!!! Cooked per person's requests and taste bud's. Will definitely be back.

My family and I visited Grand Rapids for a weekend. I saw this restaurant recommended on Tiktok so thought we'd give it a try. On Friday, we got there around 8:20pm. On Google it says her restaurant closes at 10. We walked in and waited a few minutes before a young man was sent to tell us that she (the owner) was not taking anymore orders and would he closing at 8:30. Okay, maybe the time was wrong on Google. No biggie, we decided to go again the next day. We got there around 3:30pm. Upon walking in, I smiled at the owner and said hello. She looked at me with a rude face and did not greet us. A few minutes later she asked across the restaurant if we had reservations. I answered no. Did not see anything about reservations being required when looking online. She continued working and we continued to wait by the door. After a few minutes, she came to us and said if you want to eat here, it will be slow service, is that okay? And we told her we're okay and left. Now I understand she was busy, but both days we were not treated with warmth or felt like we were welcomed in the restaurant. The other customers she interacted with were treated kindly from what we saw. I personally feel like she does not care for black Americans, which sucks because we were trying to support her black business.

This lady has the worst customer service ever. Whenever you call you never know when she will be there. Instead of saying there are only taking catering orders they just pick up the phone and hang up on you. I placed my order and talk to the owner and she confirmed with me my order I get there and she tells me they changed the menu and the no longer served that item I was asking for. Why would you not tell me when I placed the order or even call back ? Just say we made a mistake. She waisted my time gas and the only lunch I have. the food is good but the service is terrible and a turn off.

Owner was extremely rude. She was very cold and cold to me and my family, we came from Lansing and I was very happy to try but when I felt her attitude I immediately packed my family up and left. Customer service is everything, I own a food business and customer service is key to a successful business! I don’t care how good your food is.

Chez Olga is the best Caribbean food you're gonna get in Grand Rapids. Good spicy plates, lots of vegetarian options, and big enough portions for leftovers.Servers are honest and straight shooters, when I lost track of the time, they let me know directly when it was time to go! (like, "hey, it's time to go, we're closed" instead of "we're closing, but no rush, we'll just be cleaning around you") it was breath of fresh air me as a New Yorker.

I love ❤️ this restaurant. Flavors are amazing. Owner is a sweetheart. It is a bit of a wait because she runs it almost alone but it's totally worth the wait. My personal favorite is the pasta!!!
Wow! 10 out of 10 I would highly recommend! If you are looking for a delicious authentic Caribbean food experience then look no further! The owner and her son made my wife and I feel like family! This small business is clearly driven by passion and love! I had the most flavorful tender Jerk Chicken w/Rice & Beans! Please put this place on your to visit list!

This has quickly become a new favorite restaurant of mine! Every dish has been delicious. Olga has been so welcoming and friendly each time I’ve been in. This time I asked her to surprise me with a dish and she did not disappoint! She treated me with what I was told was her original signature dish. A new favorite of mine. Glad to have such a unique tasty food option here on Wealthy St !
