Awful service, made my burrito terrible and I didn’t even get that many items on it, was super disappointed and pissed that I had to ask for a bowl and fork to dump it into, the worker gave me literal 10 individual pieces of chicken, and only a dot of queso , which I also pay extra for. She slimed my burrito with SO much sour cream and sloppily wrapped it. Burrito wasn’t even closed all the way before they threw it in tin foil. I would’ve walked out if my girl didn’t want food herself. I dont normally post reviews ever in my life but this time was baddddd.
Pretty consistent with portions and freshness in my experience. Service can vary greatly here. Some very nice employees and some that obviously don't want to be there. Have been a couple times where I'm the only person in line waiting right at the counter, and no one acknowledges I'm there for like 4 minutes, despite some employees just standing around. Also burrito wrapping should be taught day 1. It's 50/50 if they screw it up or not. For these prices that should be 100% under control.

Worst customer service ever. Young lady behind desk was rude and made it seem like us ordering our food was an inconvenience. Would never spend another dollar here. I understand life is always lifing, but a better customer service experience should have been provided.

Everything with my order was fine, and the food itself was good. However, my experience was negatively impacted by the employee who took my order. She was a young blonde woman working on Saturday around 7 PM.
She was extremely rude throughout the interaction—rolling her eyes multiple times and throwing the toppings onto my bowl with visible attitude. Her behavior made me feel uncomfortable and unwelcome as a customer. There was no reason for that level of disrespect, especially since I was polite and simply placing an order.
I expect better customer service from Chipotle. This experience took away from what would have otherwise been a perfectly fine visit, and I hope management addresses this so other customers don’t have to deal with the same treatment.

Came in to grab my Togo order. It wasn't done yet. A staff member asked 3 of us waiting the names on our orders. She then told me mine was getting bagged and gentleman next to me was getting finished up. So the staff member working the to go orders finished bagging mine and instead of handing it to me she left it sitting there and then went and finished the OTHER ORDER AND HANDED IT TO HIM. Before going back to get my order. And these restaurants wonder WHY they get such TERRIBLE reviews. Especially since the food portions are getting smaller and prices are rising.

Depends on the day the food is almost always good, but it seems like they don't have enough staff to keep up, and Saturday evenings are always a disaster, but if you go down lunch or during the day things seem to run smoother

I've been to ALOT of locations in town, this one really adheres to the ingredients list, and really does make it fresh, one thing I will say is get in at certain times to get the freshest quality, as this location does care about its customers and like I said does everything to policy as far as proper seasonings and keeping the food fresh and rotated to the chipotle corporate policy, unlike the 10 mile location.
This location is a staple here in Kentwood and they do really really well, good management also.
I've been coming to this location for 5+ years and it's a true chipotle, they are good on portions at this one too! Which is an added bonus.
Steak is always good and fresh, along with the chicken, very consistent.

This is the better choice of Chipotles in the Kentwood area.
Service is fast. Food is always hot and in stock.
This location doesn't skimp on portions either.
Drive to this location to avoid raw flavorless rice, crunchy beans, and being out of almost everything else.
And you actually get customer service

DONT GO TO THIS LOCATION
this location is the worst chipotle I have ever experienced. This location is the closest to my work so I have no other choice on my lunch break. The entire place every time I’m in is trashed. Food, crumbs and trash is on the floors and tables are never wiped down. I don’t think one person in the entire store knows how to wrap a burrito. I either get a footlong skinny burrito with meat at one end and rice at the other or a sphere that is falling apart. My most recent visit my burrito was probably 75% rice and essentially inedible unless you like an all rice burrito. It’s clear the management doesn’t care because it is like this every time I go in.

I visited this Chipotle location with my mother around 8:59PM on Saturday night, and unfortunately we both had a very disappointing experience with one of the employees on the line. I wasn’t able to get her name, but she was a woman of Hispanic descent working the entrée station.
From the start, her attitude toward us was unnecessarily rude. She had already placed rice and the remaining carne asada on my bowl, and when I politely asked for a little more rice, she immediately became visibly irritated. She scooped the rice and slapped it onto my bowl aggressively, which felt very disrespectful — especially with my mother standing right next to me watching the interaction.
What made the experience even worse was that, while preparing my mother’s order (she was directly behind me in line), the employee walked away from her mid-order to help someone else, leaving my mother waiting with no explanation. It was unprofessional and dismissive.
I work in customer service myself and came in wearing my Amazon Flex work vest, so I understand what it’s like to work long hours and still treat people kindly. I always aim to show respect and patience, even on difficult days. That’s why the attitude we received felt especially unnecessary. It’s not difficult to provide the same level of courtesy to customers who are simply ordering food and asking for the items they want.
To be honest, it also felt like our experience may have been influenced by bias. As two Black women, we felt singled out and treated differently than others in line. No customer should feel that way, especially in a place that prides itself on fast, friendly service.
Overall, the interaction made us extremely uncomfortable, and it’s something I hope management addresses. No one should be treated poorly for asking for extra food or simply trying to enjoy a meal after a long day. Customer service is a major part of the job, and if an employee is unable to treat guests respectfully, it affects the entire experience.
I truly hope this location provides additional training or coaching around professionalism, patience, and consistency in serving all customers.
Food is pretty good. Most of the time. Service is a little defeated, and low energy. The restaurant is clean. The music is a little loud. Overall a decent place to eat.
