I walked in to pick up an online custom cake I ordered online. The man was very friendly, greeted me rigjt away, and asked how my day was. He told me happy birthday, since that was my cake, and asked if I wanted a “sample!” Of course I said yes… and he gave me a GIANT bowl of ice cream and brownie!!! Chris was AWESOME and connected on a personal level with me!!!! I will DEFINITELY be coming back! CHRIS you rock!!!

Was here Saturday around 3ish, one guy working and a line to the door. Was absolutely awesome! Never broke his spirit, he was joyful and happy. Definitely a good team member.

Stopped in before a movie and waited several
Minutes before even being greeted even though we were the only people there . The women who I assume would be a manager was loud and obnoxious bossing around the poor young girls working there. She loudly told the girls to not cash a paycheck they were given due to an error.

Went to Cold Stone Knapp's Corner and arrived before a white couple. The worker ignored me and went straight past me to address the wife of the couple standing next to me. The wife and I had been engaging in small talk. The wife proceeded to tell the worker that I was actually before her and the young girl didn't apologize she looked at me blankly with an attitude and asked me for my order. I gave my order to her. I then told the wife thank you, hoping the worker could hear me. I gave the order to her. Then she had the audacity to ask me if I wanted a to leave a tip on my card! Absolutely not. Of course, I said no. She said no worries. I wasn't worried at all, just didn't want to say no to her face. Won't be back! ✌?

I ordered a birthday cake for a party and it was a giant waste. I put in the order online, and I did receive an order confirmation, but nothing saying my order was ready. Annoying, but fine, that is just how their system works apparently. The problem came when I received said birthday cake. Not only is it a total rip off for a tiny cake (it comes out to about $4 per slice ?) but they had melted chocolate ice cream on the plate and didn't bother to wipe it off when plating it. Just lazy, it take 10 seconds or less! I get this might be a small thing, but this is an expensive freaking birthday cake and it just made it look sloppy. When I called and reported the issue, I was told,'Well, that happens when we plate it sometimes. No one has ever complained before.'
I'm sorry, but if I'm going to spend $30 freaking dollars on a custom birthday cake, it needs to not look like a 5 year old made it. Needless to say, I won't be coming back for cakes in the future. It was premium price for mediocre cake and horrible customer service.

I stopped in today to get some ice cream for my wife and kids. The guy working the front (Chris), had a great attitude and seemed to bring a good atmosphere. I wasn't aware that they make the ice cream there in the location so he was told me all about that as well. Great experience and will definitely be going back

Been here a lot. Today can 30 minutes till close staff was amazing! A young lady who goes to Hope college made my ice cream today and it was the best one I’ve ever had from here! Highly recommend this place!

Employee was a young man who saw me and didn’t say a word, walked away, and left the register unattended for a few minutes. He came back expressionless and asked what I wanted. He didn’t speak another word to me until I handed him my card and he (then cheerfully, and loudly) asked if he could add a tip to my purchase. I’ve had similar experiences at this cold stone location and I’m so over it. The employees have sub-par service and then loudly ask you to tip them so you feel publicly pressured to oblige. They aren’t paid less than minimum wage like waiters/waitresses are (who depend on tips). They’re paid a wage to scoop ice cream for 30 seconds and then feel entitled to a tip? It’s ridiculous. I once did tip $1 on the ice cream because i felt guilt tripped, and the guy behind the counter scoffed at me (presumably for not tipping more). Tips are earned, and I’d be more inclined to tip if the workers were actually pleasant to customers before asking for a tip. My first job not long ago was at an ice cream shop and I never expected or asked for tips. It’s not a tippable service. Go above and beyond to earn it and I’ll consider tipping.

I always loved cold stone and their employees are nice. But the last time I went there a rude lady named Tammy served us and she was giving nasty looks to my family. My husband also has an accent and she said to his face that she could not understand what he was saying because of his accent, he was talking proper English, all while her own voice is soooo raspy.

Got there at 8:50 and they close at 9 along with 4 others not with me and the kids working serve others and while waiting in line for 10 mins they say we can’t serve you were closed now. Totally messed up.
