Sadly it appears that Cottage Bar and Grill is no longer in business. The place was closed despite their posted schedule saying it was open. Also two "Space Available" signs were taped on the windows. Sad to see this place go under. Food was great and the service was impeccable.

It's not worth it. Over priced, fast food tastes better, and our glasses were dirty. There is also no mention of upcharge on fries and adding a credit card fee withlut mention. Do not come here

I ordered a wet burrito and my toddler got chicken tenders and fries. The French fries are amazing! They're like seasoned wedges and our server Casey recommended dipping them in sour cream and it was sooo good. My burrito was yummy! The atmosphere was a bit dark. Could use new carpet and a refreshed look.
100% will be going back.

Went in here today they refused to honor a gift card that was purchased. New ownership is terrible! There was not one customer in there and I can see why. They should’ve stuck with their Indian restaurant and let someone else buy this place that cared about the history of this bar. The former owner should be very disappointed!

I wouldn't go here guys. I recently bought a groupon. They told me they wouldn't accept it because the owner recently changed. I asked to speak to the manager or owner. They came and agreed to honor it, but I had to argue a bit and they were kind of rude and upset. As far as the food, the burger was decent but certainly not the best in Michigan. The sides were decent but portion was too small for the price. Burgers should by default come with fries not potato chips. One plus is that our waiter was great.

Beware if you purchase a local flavor or groupon for this place new ownership does not accept neither. Don't waste your time or money on this place! Bought a local flavor deal to try while in grand rapids. Was super excited to have a good meal to only be disappointed. This place is currently nothing like what the past good reviews nor website portrays it. Cottage burger was voted #1 Michigan burger from US Today back in 2010..14yrs later and new ownership very disappointing burger.

Great. Used to always have an interesting beer or two but now is a bit boring. Thank you for cleaning the housing staff more places need to all this closing when it’s slow is wack. And they act like you’re bothering them when all you want is to order and pay for your food

My husband and I love the cottage bar. We have both been eating there for decades. We currently live within walking distance and regularly have dinner in their outdoor seating area. We love the staff and the way they treat us.Too bad the current owner is in conflict with the people who do such as amazing job for him.If things don't resolve we will no longer est there just like we never eat at his other restaurant, The Palace of India.
