Cottage Inn Pizza Grand Rapids

I thought that since there are multiple Cottage Inn locations there wouldn't be real big differences between the locations when ordering the same item but I was definitely wrong. I ordered a roma pesto pizza from the downtown location and was really disappointed overall, especially when compared to the Roma pesto that I usually order from the Wealthy st location. To start with, there was no pesto drizzle and I initially didn't think there were any Roma tomatoes at all. I did eventually discovered though that there were a few on there, but I didn't recognize them since they were burnt black and crispy and looked like maybe spinach. There was too much cheese with not enough since and the combination resulted in a very dry, bland pizza that was absolutely different than the same pizza ordered at Wealthy.

This pizza parlors attention to detail with helping out to the best of their ability, making gluten free pizza an actual option for someone with celiacs. We found a favorite pizza joint right in middle of downtown grand rapids! Jason is truly offering the same quality of customer service, quality of ingredients, and attention to notes on online orders especially for gluten free. Thank you, Jason, as the owner of a pizza who offers gluten free, for making pizza a wonderful enjoyment experience for us again!!! 5 stars... all the way across the board!!!

First time ordering, on a Sunday night in downtown. Excellent customer service over the phone, and excellent customer service on delivery. The store was busy, and still had great customer service, with delivery. The food was outstanding!! This apparently is a chain pizza place, but tastes and looks like homemade. I WILL order again (need more locations across all of the greater Grand Rapids area).

Pizza was good, but I prefer to have my toppings on top. If my toppings would have been on top then they would have cooked a little and have made the pizza taste a little better which would have helped the food eating. The service rating is 5 stars because I was working van andel and had a 2 hr break in between shows and they delivered to me in my car that was parked on the side of the street.

I did a build your own nino (7 inch) Alfredo sauce, steak, jalapenos, green pepper, red onion and cheese and it was 12 dollars all together plus tip.

Great food and a great staff.

We came in with a small group (4 adults, 3 children) shortly after a Scout event let out at Van Andel as everyone was trying to find a kid-friendly place to eat before the game, so it was quite busy.

The staff were friendly and were still able to get our food out faster than they originally said they'd be able to (told us it'd probably be a 30-minute wait, but the pizzas were ready in 15!).

Overall, a great experience and definitely something we'll be going back to.

Always been a fan of their pizza!
Stopped in tonight for some takeout and both myself and Jason forgot about my bottle of ranch! 😱(no biggie though, it happens!!) However, Jason was kind enough to call me to apologize AND add a credit to my account 🥹 Genuinely so kind of him. Thank you Jason and I'll definitely be back soon 🍕

Apparently they weren't prepared for the dinner rush on a Friday night. So do they push customer service and be polite and understanding that you are waiting? Nope they decided to be frustrated and rude when simply asking for an update after already waiting 10 minutes. Two thumbs down for Pizza I can get the same quality as any other chain. So I just cancelled my order.

Jason was a very sweet person! I called in to place a delivery order. He was very patient as I asked about pricing, food information, etc. It was a busy night, and yet he took the time to speak with me. Thank you!

Stayed in a nearby hotel. Not only was the food delivered about 20 minutes SOONER than estimated, the family said it was arguably the best pizza they ever had. Bravo!

Love their pizzas! My go to is the deluxe no green peppers and the kids love the ultimate pepperoni! A great and speedy option for dinner on those busy school nights!
