This is the best place I know of in Grand rapids to get fried chicken. I love going at lunchtime to get one of the meals. And it makes my husband overly happy when I pick some up for dinner. In addition to the great chicken, there are quite a few good sides to choose from. My favorites are the cole slaw and the fried mushrooms. And for dessert, the fries Oreo is awesome.
The fried chicken was delicious. The outside was crispy, and the inside was moist and tender. The breading was just the right thickness. It was seasoned perfectly, so it wasn't greasy at all. I want to go back again.
I have been enjoying the food here a lot lately! I wanted to give a special shout out to the service I received tonight! I order a 2 piece dark meat combo, and instead they gave me a third piece free of charge! I also ordered a fried Oreo for myself, and they gave me two even though I only ordered one! They were so friendly and welcoming when I went in to get my food. Not to mention my combo was less than $9! Great deals, great food, and great service. So glad I live close to...
