I have been a frequent customer since about 2017. It just occurred to me to finally leave a review at the risk of having more of my favorite meat be sold out by the end of the day. After trying DOZENS of BBQ in the state, I can say with confidence that Daddy Pete's is the best in the region, if not state. You will not find better food, service, or value for your money at any other place within 3 hours of driving to this amazing business. I have tried every item on the menu and you cant go wrong with any selection!

Overall good experience. The food was mostly good. The sides were phenomenal. One minor gripe (and it's not big enough to keep us from returning) was we were the only customers there yet we still waiting 25 minutes for food. Low and slow bbq has been ready. But at the end of the day we'll be returning and we've been spreading the word. Thank youVegetarian options: They had really great and good tasting vegan/vegetarian options. ?

We recently served Daddy Pete's BBQ at our sons graduation party and everyone LOVED it! We ordered the shredded pork and chicken plus a couple of their disposable chaffing dishes to keep the BBQ warm - it was all perfect! The customer service was top notch and we will definitely be going there again. If you are considering ordering from here, don't hesitate, you won't be disappointed!

I ordered the meal for 6-10 people and was so disappointed. The 4 sides could barely feed 3 people. Spent $130 on food that couldn't even feed my guests. This was definitely not what I expected and I'm very disappointed in spending so much money for so little food.

The BBQ was the best I've had in the Grand Rapids area. So well done. I had ribs and brisket. Both were so good.Only a few places to sit but for take-out you can't beat this.

I’m not much of a meat eater but if Daddy Pete’s is on the menu you better believe I’m getting me some brisket. And the Bbq sauce is so damn good I could bathe in it. Cornbread is the best in the game. Mac and cheese is award winning. We are more than happy to spend our time and money here. Do yourself a favor and check this place out. You won’t regret it. And the staff is awesome!

Hands down the best brisket in town, no questions asked. I've lived in the area long enough to say this is one of the best barbecue shops in Grand Rapids possibly all of West Michigan.Not only are the meats cooked properly all the way to the seasoning but I recently found out that their meats are sourced fresh every week.Good service, good food make a great restaurant.

I had a chance to eat brisket from Daddy Pete's, City Barbeque, and 2 Scotts all in one week. Daddy Pete's was the best, hands down without a doubt. I wasn't trying to compare when I bought them and just had an urge for some brisket but the difference was extreme. Mama Pete's buffalo barbecue sauce is something to write home to your mama about. You also set the standard on how baked beans are simply delicious without having to add a thing from your cupboards at home! Great work!

no really.... i'm obsessed...calling all vegans. i was so excited for some vegan bbq and i was not let down. we love to see so many plant based options on the menu. i got a side of mac n cheese and the hot mess: baked beans, mac n cheese, pulled jackfruit in bbq, and coleslaw. i'm not a big jackfruit lover by any means because of the texture but the flavor was so good. the sauce really was the star of the show. the mac n cheese was also delicious. zero complaints here.
