We came here on Thanksgiving which I know it was going to be busy. But they're so unorganized.. I called and the guy said it was just about ready and that's been over a half hour ago... Also there's other customers too that are having problems because they can't find people's orders (reciept order).. Got our food and hour later.. it took the cook to find our order that has been sitting there for a while. Also asked for a refund was told no I couldn't get one!

Frank was The cook and the food was cook with love. The green pepprrs, onion and potatoes we nice a soft and the chicken breast was moist. Out food was nice and hot. The Deana the server was polite, and prompt with everything. They are great team. We was at Denny's on 3900 38th ST SE Grand Rapids

The place had just a few customers when my grandson and I arrived around 7:40 am. We were seated right away, our order was taken within seven minutes or so, but it was 8:35 am before we received our breakfast. Whole sitting I saw at least five people come in waiting to be seated. No one came up to greet them and they left. This Denny’s is in the middle of death throes..

After the Ihop on the beltline closed which was my aunt's favorite place we took her to denny's for her birthday lunch instead. We had a party of 5 at noon on a thursday. The restaurant was not busy, only a few other people there. The waitress was prompt & got us our drinks and took our orders. But then we waited for 40 minutes before we noticed the person that got there after us already had their food. The waitress noticed that she was served first & told us that our ticket got lost in the kitchen & apologized for the wait. We ended up waiting for over an hour total to get our food. Once we got our food the hashbrowns were extremely overcooked to the point of being black & crunchy in places. I like hashbrowns somewhat crunchy but this was just plain overcooked. Other than that the food was ok, not nearly as good as Ihop in my opinion. The waitress did a good job but overall I was disappointed in my trip to Dennys. My mom said that she had gone to that location prior with one other person & they waited 40 minutes for their food that time, & she assumed it was a fluke. But after this experience we probably won't be back for awhile. I'd drive the extra distance to go to Ihop on Alpine.

Stopped for breakfast on the way back from a long weekend trip. The food is consistently good at Denny's, especially breakfast. The service was fantastic. Our waitress was attentive and engaging. We really enjoyed our experience. Would definitely recommend.

Really disappointed, I used to come here alot but it looks like they are having management issues. Got there at 10:34am and left at 12:23pm (11/06) . It took so long get our food even though it wasn’t busy when we got there. The food was tasty but service was bad, two tables walked-out because it had been so long.

Had to wait for about 30 minutes before they located the waitress. Additional 30 minutes before we got our food. Would be 1 star but the food was really good.
