Dirty Plate Bistro feels like you invited yourself into a Chef's home and that chef is pulling out all the stops to deliver you an awesome experience.
There's so much passion in the food, the rotating menu is incredible, and the level of charm and personality that the chef brings to the table will keep me coming back time and time again. It's now on my short list to show off to visiting friends/family that I want to move to GR forever.

The food was excellent! Well seasoned, tender, full of flavor! I forgot to take a photo, but the portions were great, too! Chef Benjamin was very kind and working his tail off. You can tell her truly cares about the meals he’s creating! We’ll definitely be back to see what other creations he has to offer!

My partner and I stopped here for an early dinner. The food was incredibly flavorful and was a huge portion! I had the Verdant and Embers dish, which was a tikka masala-esque chicken and waffles and it was phenomenal. My partner’s reuben was also very good. Ben was super engaging and we had a great time - I’m excited to see more from this chef in the future and to see what comes up on the seasonal menus!

A tiny place that serves amazing food. As mentioned, menu rotates regularly. This is the schnitzel with spaetzel, which was amazing, as were my tastes of the sweet potato gnocchi and beef bourguignon. Will be back.

I stumbled upon this place and was immediately inundated with rave reviews by diners on their way out when I stopped to read the menu. My wife and I visited shortly after and we were amazed by the menu, the quality of the food, the atmosphere, and the incredibly friendly service. We've already been back for more. The chef, Benjamin, has a wonderful spirit and is a genius in the kitchen. The menu changes every couple of weeks, which makes for new culinary experiences every visit, and is based on locally sourced and seasonal ingredients. You've got to try this place, it's the best new restaurant in GR in years.
