AMAZING! Service was excellent from beginning to end. We got Quesabirrias and Wet Burrito and both were delicious. Great atmosphere. 10/10 would recommend!

Beware...This place is not worth a visit..Cute place but food is cold and tastes terrible (like cardboard with days old sauce on it) The server did not know who ordered what even though there were two at our table and less than 20 people in the place. The Enchilada with pulled chicken were the worst ever. No taste to enchiladas, rice, or refried beans. Everything appeared to be slopped onto the plates. My partner had fajitas that came out on a sizzling plate. Then a few minutes later the tiny wraps came in tinfoil wrapper. Then the toppings came....then the rice and beans...then a plate to put the wrappers on to fill them after we asked twice of plate. The enchiladas had three pieces of shredded chicken in them and were cold. Beware...this place is not worthy of a second chance.

The Good:
I really appreciated the three choices of salsa—mild, medium, and hot. It's always nice to have options, and all three were flavorful. The tortilla chips were also a highlight: not too thick like some places make them, and they were perfectly salted.

The Not So Good:
Unfortunately, the service left much to be desired. Everything was fine during the meal, but once we finished eating, we were completely forgotten. Despite our server walking past our table multiple times, we had to flag her down after waiting far too long. The food itself was just okay. The rice and beans were especially bland and lacked seasoning. Also worth noting: they don't have an alcohol license yet, though they're apparently working on it.

Overall, I wouldn’t return and wouldn’t recommend it based on this experience. which is too bad because it is a family run restaurant.

For the price defininitly pretty good. Got the dried shredded chicken burrito. Id like to suggest some rice in there maybe also some sliced avocado, something seems to be missing to make it amazing. Not bad at all. I'll have to try some other things.

This location is a great addition to Northeast Grand Rapids for authentic Mexican food. While you will find standard American-Mexican favorites, you will also find proteins and dishes rare locally. The staff was friendly and helpful about answering any questions you might have. They serve breakfast and dinner daily. They also have a lunch menu Tuesday to Friday. Closed Mondays. Complimentary chips, house made mild salsa, medium salsa and a hot verde salsa, all excellent. Generous portions for our Torta Cubana (with steak, ham, grilled hot dog, chorizo, breaded chicken fillet and egg torta with fixings and Campechanos Quesadilla (steak and chorizo). We look forward to coming back.

Vegetarian options: Vegetarian friendly dishes were clearly marked on the menu. Also marked were spicy tolerance recommended dishes.

Kid-friendliness: Family-friendly restaurant.

Wheelchair accessibility: Ramp from handicapped parking area, two glass doors for entry, and plenty of low top tables to access with or transfer from a wheelchair.

First time eating here and breakfast was amazing. The chori-papa scrambled eggs were so delicious. Tortillas were hot and fresh. The salsa was the best in town. The service was fast and friendly! We also got both the cafe de olla and the coffee with horchata and both were perfection. We will be back for sure!

The biggest insult is to be ignored. We were seated, other empty tables. Then we watched as the empty tables were filled. People were brought drinks and chips. Then orders were taken. We sat watching, until we had enough. Wanted to support the place. We are great people.
