The Elbow Room is a pleasant, dark bar that makes a good escape from whatever’s going on outside. The drinks were decently priced, and there was plenty of seating. I found it quite comfortable and unpretentious. It’s definitely worth a try.

The Elbow Room gets my vote for best bar burger in GR !! It’s huge , and absolutely perfect, delicious. Service is excellent, nice atmosphere. Very comfortable booths . Passed by lots of times, I will definitely stop here again. Highly recommended.

I tried the tater barrels and the shrimp basket. Totally delicious. More than I needed. The staff is amazing! My new neighborhood hangout!

Vegetarian options: Southwest bean burger looked great. My vegetarian friend raved about it!

It was kind of cramped with lots of weird people which the weird people isn't really a fault of the bar itself but when we went to pay the server took our card and I guess she wanted to keep it. It took like half an hour to cash us out and being the card back so we couldn't get out of there. The food was not very good. We got the sample platter and it just tasted like old fryer oil.

We enjoyed our meal. Handicap parking but stairs and no room for a wheelchair. Couldn't get to the bathroom with the wheelchair either.Elbow room is a perfect description. Food was great.

Really nice neighborhood tavern. The food was great. I would highly recommend the chili. Great flavor and very meaty. The perch basket was also very good. It appeared to be authentic Yellow Lake Perch. Besides being delicious it was cooked properly. Perch are very thin fillets. It is easy to over batter and over cook them. These were thinly battered and seasoned just right. Whoever the cook is knows what he or she is doing! The waitress Lauren did a great job! The place was absolutely filled to capacity at 3:00pm and she had everything under control. We highly recommend going there.
