Fat Man's Fish Fry

It's not really a restaurant to go and sit, but seating is available. Most customers are picking up their food and taking it to go, but they stay pretty busy, so that speaks for itself. I grew up going to this restaurant and always make sure to stop in for fish whenever I visit my hometown.

I ordered online and received notification when to pick it up . I went to grocery store just to give it time for my order. I came 15 mins after the desire time to pick up. When I arrived the young boy assuming the son of new owners said it would be ready in addition of five minutes. I was upset inside. Because I was trying to avoid watching people order and receive their food before me. I felt like at times like this there should be extra food or free item for the extra time of waiting. After ten minutes the food was ready. Food was good but I miss the old crew.

Nothing like it used to be. Food is ok. The Lamperts did it best. Prices are off the chart. Place looking run down inside. Shocked its still open. Miss the good days working there.

We have been coming here for years and ownership changed we decided to come and try it since then and tonight our usual food order and it was cold fries, over cooked popcorn shrimp, and popcorn chicken I could make at home. It was our favorite place till now it’s nothing like it was. Sad a once loved place is now gone for us as the food is far from what it used to be.

Great food and I love the choices you get here from the seafood to the seasoning. Fun selection of drinks and has a small wall of groceries as well. Parking was about full last time I went so expected it to be a minute but order was taken right away and was out in about 10 minutes tops.

Went late at night, around 9:30-10pm. I got the fried cod and lemon pepper shrimp. Shrimp were great. The cod was chewy as all get out. Not sure if it is due to me going late or what but i would not get fish again.

Man, they don't disappoint. Probably one of the best Philly cheese steak sandwiches I've had. Fish has been crisp and all the food is well seasoned and flavourful. So suggest hitting them up.
