This is a lovely spot to visit at the Grand Rapids Downtown Market. The gal today was very friendly and enthusiastic about the breads she was selling. She told us all about the sample bread, Righteous Seed, which is a darker bread with poppyseeds along with sesame and fennel seeds, Oh my! YUM! We decided to to shop a bit and then get a loaf on our way out, since there were several loaves left. When we came back, there was only a half loaf left but it was better than not having any! We shall be back!

They are located inside the farmers market. They recently moved to a smaller station at the front. We visited in the afternoon on a Wednesday. We got an Apricot pastry, ham and cheese, and a loaf of bread. The person running it was extremely nice and friendly! Gave us ideas on stuff to do around town. Will definitely be back!

Greatest place around to get bread! Love their pastries even more. however they are much better when reheated if they’ve been out rather than eating after buying. I would love to see if they could, one day, be able to reheat them behind the counter at the bakery so I could have them right then and there. Please for the love of bread— BRING BACK THE RIGHTEOUS CROISSANT! I loved that one! Never have craved a croissant like that before.

I developed a taste for banquettes during a recent trip to France. The baguette they have here are nothing like the ones I had around Europe. These are tough and heavy with a hard crust (not light and crispy). Plus they are quite expensive at $4 compared to €1 in even the expensive parts of Paris.
Drove all the way downtown, from Ionia on Nov. 30th to visit my favorite bakery and buy a few loaves of their fabulous bread. Got to the market and was shocked to see that they wanted me to pay $25.00 to park my car. When I saw this nonsense, I turned around and returned home! No bread, but I most certainly wasn't paying $25.00 to purchase $15.00 worth of bread! Stupidest thing I've ever heard of! No more F&F for me!
